Jordan 8 Orange Blaze Question

Hey guys. Normally I wouldn't create a post like this but I need some opinions. I recently bought a pair of ds AJ8 orange blaze from 2007. How is the paint cracking on this pair? My aquas from this run cracked horribly but my playoffs are still holding up well. Also, would it be safe to wear them for the forst time since they are 9 years old. I hope they are as i want to wear them. View media item 1885383Please let me know your thoughts.

Paint should start cracking relatively quickly after a few wears. As for the midsole, it's a 9 year old shoe now, so you don't have much time. Push the midsole in and if it reforms to the original shape rather than stay dented, you should be good.

Syracuse colors... don't wear those to a UConn game.

Haha I wont! The midsole is good I believe as it reforms. It's the paint I'm worried about mostly. The used to beat pairs on ebay don't seem to have too much chipping. Decisions decisions!

They crack but it took a while. I also babied them for the longest more because the tongue is a dirt magnet.
Shoe looks better on foot as well. Enjoy them. Had the anthracite 8s and those I destroyed with out a care.
