R. Kelly Admits He Asked For His Mother's Hand In Marriage

As creepy as that ****** is man he's laced us with some classics. If I could turn back the hands of time was so powerful my young self wished I had loved and lost so I could truly feel the emotion of the track. Then I grew up and loved and lost, **** didn't feel good at all.

Love youuuuuuuuu!!!!

Love youuuuuuuuuuuu!!!

Love youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!!!!!!!

Flesh Prince the man for that post, I didn't even know son had a video for that after all these years.

Kinda cool how son rocked the ball head even tho he was more than capable of growing hair. That fab 5 steez.

Aaron Hall's I Miss You video looks like something R. Kelly mimic his swag in the beginning

It's like aaron Hall was the Eddie Jones to kellz kobe. He may have been influenced by him but he ended up doing so much more. A Hall was appreciated tho.

as always, instead of talking about the true topic... this thread became an appreciation thread.

The true topic was never discussed. Thread says R Kelly proposes to his mom, making it seem like he was 30 and in love with his mom. Never says he was a kid or anything unless you click the link and find out on your own.

I didn't eem know that was the remix loool.
I thought that was a completely different song...mind blown.

The real question tho is

In his field.....why WOULDN'T r kelly be considered a legend?

Kellz is a legend b.

Son has too many classics. My 8th grade class sang I believe I can fly for graduation.

I hope he gets help man. One thing people don't get is that hurt people, hurt people.

P Kelly is the ultimate swagg jacker. From a baldy to cornrows to a beard. He'll probably have Fetty Wap locs next year.

and to consider R Kelly a GOAT, must show you don't know much about and don't listen to music from the 60's and 70's. I hate that term by the way.

Saying someone ran music during the worst period of music isn't saying much. It's like being the best player on the 76ers. You deserve to be a all star because of it? P Kelly he also benefited a lot from D'Angelo and Lauryn having their problems, because you can say they were more or just as impactful with less work.

Not in response to you but

I don't like to put music from the 60s 70s 80s 90s or now in order of greatness cuz they were each different.

But people that say so and so era is better than current or recent music gotta realize that most if not all music remembered from past eras are hits. No one remembers the bad songs, and there were alot.
**** some people probably dont know ANY of the bad songs.

But today and currently of course were fully aware of bad songs cuz they are still out there.

R kelly is extremely talented tho..
His writing and producing covers a wide range
You are not alone by michael jackson....boom like an 808 by blaque

Hes self taught.

Like i said earlier tho...
In his FIELD what would not make him one of the greats?

Legend...yes
GOAT...hell no

GOAT is Greatest of all Times

It's an overused phrase.

It's like a 15 year old saying Kobe is the GOAT. When that 15 year old has no knowledge of Michael, Magic, Kareem...

Dudes need to stop that ****. It's insulting to those who came before, and it downplays their legacy just because you don't know or aren't in to them. Not everything current needs to be labeled as great. Young people quickly do that.

Goat yea i dunno.

Thats tough

Marvin...sam...al...james....Michael.....

Tough.

I understand what you're saying and there's so many different eras when it comes to music or even sports. When people ask me, who's your top 10 NBA players? I never saw Kareem, Baylor, Moses, Wilt or Russell so they will never be in my top 10. I know they were great, I see highlights and stats but I wasn't around for that. It's no slight at them or anything, nothing but respect. I think there are greats from each generation and I think 90s and early 00s, R Kelly would be our GOAT from that era. I wasn't around in the 60s or 70s, I've heard a decent amount played by my mother and older family members. Marvin, Cooke, Luther, Al and all of the legends but I was around for MJ, Prince and R. Kelly. Those are the legends and GOATs of my lifetime. I mean R Kelly could be the greatest writer of all time. The man can write music like no one when he wants to and isn't trying to make a dollar or hop on a new trend. "Love Letter" and "Write Me Back" were phenomenal albums that were released recently. Sounded straight out of the 60s and 70s. Unbelievable that he could even do that.
