Ok fine YOU can't. The word Legend means something different to YOU, but I'm going by the definition of legend and by the definition, R.Kelly's body of work is legend. That's all I'm saying no where in the definition does it say you have to take into account someones personal life. I don't buy R.Kelly music, I don't have R.Kelly on my ipod. I might dance to his songs at the club but that's not really supporting him directly. I have never been or intend on going to an R.Kelly show, and I would never hang out with him. I don't like the guy, but my personal feelings about what he has done is irrelevant when we are talking about his music and what he has done for the R&B genre.
I'll ask the MJ questions again. If a story came out that Michael Jordan did something as despicable as R.Kelly would that change your opinion on whether or not he was the greatest basketball player of all time? Would MJ no longer be a legend to you?
