Considering the evidence, I think Kobe would have been guilty if the woman continued the trial
It's a shame that Kobe got off scot free while Mike Tyson had to go to prison for a dubious rape story

What ? Why do think she didn't take it to trail ? kobes lawyers would have poked holes all thru her claim just like the derrick rose case

Both of them are "accused rapist." None of them found guilty in the court of law. (I think Kobe was innocent btw). But one could EASILY make that argument that dude with the Kobe avi is being hypocritical.

They found multiple tapes of underage girls at r kellys house but couldn't use them because they didn't obtain them legally.... there's nothing alleged about what r.kelly was doing b

I read it when it released. I saw no "evidence" that a rape occurred. That article consisted of her account, his account, and statements from the legal + medical officials. 

It was always going to be the burden of the attorneys to prove that the "vaginal bruising" was directly from Kobe and only Kobe...and not the fact that she had been pounded by 3 guys in the span of 2 days.

I do not question the motives of this young woman. No money has been paid to this woman. She has agreed that this statement will not be used against me in the civil case. Although I truly believe this encounter between us was consensual, I recognize now that she did not and does not view this incident the same way I did. After months of reviewing discovery, listening to her attorney, and even her testimony in person, I now understand how she feels that she did not consent to this encounter.

I don't even understand why these two are being compared. Both are "accused" rapists but one undeniably has a thing for children

The one young woman, who had been 14 or 15 when R. Kelly began a relationship with her, detailed in great length, in her affidavits, a sexual relationship that began at Kenwood Academy: He would go back in the early years of his success and go to Lina McLin's gospel choir class. She's a legend in Chicago, gospel royalty. He would go to her sophomore class and hook up with girls afterward and have sex with them. Sometimes buy them a pair of sneakers. Sometimes just letting them hang out in his presence in the recording studio. She detailed the sexual relationship that she was scarred by. It lasted about one and a half to two years, and then he dumped her and she slit her wrists, tried to kill herself. Other girls were involved. She recruited other girls. He picked up other girls and made them all have sex together. A level of specificity that was pretty disgusting.

Her lawsuit was hundreds of pages long, and Kelly countersued. The countersuit was, like, 10 pages long: "None of this is true!" We began our reporting. We knocked on a lot of doors. The lawsuits, the two that we had found initially, had been settled. Kelly had paid the women and their families money and the settlements were sealed by the court. But of course, the initial lawsuits remain part of the public record.
