anyone know anything about the GMC Terrain? good or bad?

I like those Ridgelines but I didn't know they had V6's and as for trucks I don't wanna spend more than 18, 20k the most and most trucks are a little too much for me. size if the vehicle isn't too much of a factor cuz I don't have a family, reason why I'm looking into these smaller SUVs

You could do what everybody is suggesting and go buy an import, or you can man up and buy an American truck.

I just bought a 2013 F150 that I love, although I still like Chevy more.

Look into the F150's that are only a few years old. They have the V6 with the Turbo. I believe it's one of Ford's best selling models right now. You can ft most of the stuff you'll need to transport in the bed.

You could get some 07.5'- 2011 (ish) Silverados for 20K. It won't be fully loaded or anything. Probably just an extended bed, 2wd, maybe 4wd. Either way I'd go Ford or Chevy, both make great trucks. The Colorado is to small for my liking but I hear it's been doing very well. You could buy one of those off the lots for somewhere near your price.

yea I think im.gonna go look at the trucks I like the Patriot & Terrain but that 4 cyl. ain't gonna cut it

My lady drives a Terrarain. She loves it. Had a 2011 and guy ran a red light and totaled it so she got the 2012. No major issues that I can think of right off hand. Good gas mileage. Comfortable on long road trips - took it from Denver to Moab and had plenty of cargo / trunk space. Good space in the back seat. Based on what you said your needs were it should handle that.

Driving on the road trip was great. Smooth ride. No complaints. She has the 6 cyl. We live in Colorado and we have driven it in the mountains to Breck, Aspen, Vail, Steamboat, Telluride, etc and never once when I have been driving it have I felt like it lacks power or 'get up' to handle mountain driving.

Oh ok, it's prolly the 4 cyl. everyone is complaining about. Does yours have power windows?
