NT: The People v OJ / 30 for 30: OJ

Yes the biggest reason the dream team defense won the case is because they proved that the LAPD was negligible with evidence and that tampered evidence no matter how incriminating couldn't be substantial.

OJ paid someone to do it. Nobody would be that careless if they did it themselves. That's where the prosecution ****** up, they wanted OJ to be the killer instead of the mastermind

I disagree. I think OJ did it. After watching the first 15 minutes of the show, there were so much evidence proving he had done it. Lets not forget he had a long history of hitting his wife. After years of abuse, he probably took it a step further.

The show itself,.........:pimp:
solid performances all around.

Travolta is scary looking but great acting.

Likewise Cuba

Schwimmer will be remembered for this role forever. Not for friends, but for this.

And Kato

Soon as they cut to Travolta in the restaurant telling that story, I knew he was going to kill it.

Honestly, just looking at things before the first episode I was very skeptical of a lot of the casting.

I think they got the casting on point with this, as good as they could get, lol.

But knowing now about the tampering of evidence I'm not completely sure OJ actually committed the murder.

Really?
The blood on the car, inside the car. Him driving around the neighborhood th night of the murder angry and crazy. Remember the old lady's testimony, talking about him driving like a mad man?

Him failing the lie detector test. His reaction to when he got the call about the murder. (He didnt ask how she died).

When interviewed by the cops, he couldnt give clear, direct and exact accounts of his time and locations.

For years, he had hit Nicole, and hit her BAD (google it). I think it was said in the 1st episode, there were over ten 911 calls from the Simpson house concerning domestic abuse.

I'm not saying he had nothing to do with, just he probably didn't do it himself.

As geeked as Kato was he probably did it lol, jp.

I forgot about the "If I Did it" book though. The interview with Ron Goldman's parents convinced me at that point. The part in the book when he's about to kill Goldman he stated Goldman got into this karate stance. Goldman's parents stated that's exactly what their son would've done. Some of the details from that book were eerily similar to what may have actually happened.

Why are you using the show to support that OJ did it?

There was blood missing from the lab at one point
tthe blood in the truck and some they found on socks in his home is thought to have been planted
the blood in the truck was found on the console was found in a fingerprint that could only have been made once the console was removed
blood the found in the socks contained an anticoagulant used in forensics labs, and not naturally present in the body

someone planting evidence thinking they were going to solidify the case against OJ wound up losing it instead

so surprising so many people don't know this.

YOU CAN'T FRAME A GUILTY MAN.

YOU CAN'T FRAME A GUILTY MAN.

In this case I get your point, but you certainly can.

Example : Man robs a liquor store and steals some merchandise. Guilty. Employee at the store then empties the cash register and claims it was a part of the robbery. Still guilty of theft, but framed for further theft.

The way that our legal system works, this could often lead to different levels of punishment, and therefore is a pretty big deal. As far as murder, look up the different classifications of murder and the different penalties that they can carry.

Until the defenses natural investigation and they put details and facts together. The robber was caught but the full amount of cash allegedly stolen was not found on him. Robber testifies he never cleaned out the cash register. It goes on and on.

But the example you brought up isn't really the same thing. With OJ somebody tampered with the evidence to frame him and after investigation the prosecution looks incompetent and/or corrupt for putting forth tampered with evidence. Your example is just one robber taking an extra wrap for the acts of another robber. He didn't frame dude, he stole money in a moment of opportunity.

Was I the only one dying during Billy Magnussen's Kato Katelin scenes?

Lolol
I'm believing the show to be accurate with the evidence.

I was on the verge of asking this as well. The show, though 1 episode in is already doing a stellar job of recreating America's obsession with this case but will not have EVERY detail because there are tons

The paying theory is another one that's possible...

It's the story that I've heard the most. I stated earlier that I was young when this was going on but was exposed to almost every detail because of my father. We were constantly watching CNN every night following every clue. It was my father who put the notion in my head that it wasn't OJ personally who did it but he did hire someone to do it because Nicole was on the verge of divorcing him and taking EVERYTHING. All the excerpts from the "If I did it" book are so detailed because the actual killer corraberated everything with OJ. There is mention of it in this thread someone posted a link but that is the unpopular argument because pop culture wants to paint OJ as a killer. He wasn't a "killer" he was just a man that got sick of his wife and paid to off her. The job was just too sloppy and he was at the crime scene a few moments after it happened to check it out. That's where he ****** up.

 Same here.

The other theory out there was the possibility of O.J.'s oldest son, Jason, killing Nicole and Ron and O.J. decided to bite the bullet for his son...

There was something about a journal they found involving Jason Simpson's thoughts and how they were violent, etc...

aint watch it yet but heres the full documentary which talks about his relationship OJ and killing Nic n Ron

It had to be more than 1 killer IMO Goldman was in pretty good shape and could have easily taken OJ

I've heard that as well and that isn't beyond the stretch of the imagination but I couldn't imagine OJ going through that level of scrutiny if he knew who the actual killer was and didn't agree for the deed to be done. If his son did it, OJ still had to be involved some how some way. The bronco chase is the most damning evidence of OJ's guilt. If someone killed anybody of your family let alone the mother of your children and you were being accused as the killer you would do any and everything you need to clear your name. OJ was hiding from police and led them on a chase all through the LA 405 and left a suicide note. That's not even mentioning the things that was found with Cowlings and OJ in the bronco....

JOHNNIE C was brilliant for telling OJ stop taking his arthritis meds before he put the glove on THAT WAS HUGE

OJ had no visible signs of bruising the day after the murder if I remember correctly. His plan was fool proof in the early stages I would imagine it was just the murder was sloppy and he was around the area at the time. A knife as the murder weapon is ridiculous. I guess it be harder for forensics to trace than bullet fragments but sheesh OJ. You shoulda just let the woman take half and let your children have a mother :smh:

I used to think that as well but in all the carnage that was accomplished at the scene, it is just wild it is one set of footprints in all that blood if it was another person.
