Denzel is too old and too expensive for FX.

And not counting voiceovers, he hasn't done TV since St. Elsewhere went off the air in 1988...but Travolta hadn't done any TV roles since 1979 so...

my man wouldve been a perfect choice

also...

No on both counts.

MBJ is like 20 years younger than OJ was when he may or may not have murked Nicole & Ron.

And Eddie? Can't be serious.

And to whoever suggested Tyler Perry..... Hell naw...

Could see Lawrence Fishburne or Terrence Howard pull it off. :nerd: Obviously the latter has his plate full.

I feel like denzel is too much the "go-to black guy" .

I feel like the main complaint against Cuba is he's not big enough. Maybe he should have juiced up :nerd:

This Laz character

. Cuba is doing a good job. Does anyone know for sure that OJ wasn't whining behind the scenes? Anyone read any of the books that came out about this case?

I did not know OJ and AC had wigs or fake beards with their passport during the chase

Hard to believe OJ was this whiny... Dude complained his country club golfers weren't visiting him

On a bright note travolta is KILLIN this Shapiro role
I know if OJ is watching this in prison he's pretty pissed with Cuba playing him.

While his acting is great, the voice is obviously wrong. The raspy whiny voice Cuba is using to convey desperateness and panic and the sound of a possible liar is more off than him being nowhere as tall as OJ. OJ got a deep voice. I'm sure he might be able to get whiny and high pitched but not like what we're seeing. It'd be more realistic if Cuba was just raspy throughout.

That's been the main modification with this version of OJ.

Saw something the other day that said where he is there is cable, but there is no fx on the particular cable provider for him to watch this.

I think we just need to look at it not as an impersonation, but as his interpretation of the man. He can't/chose not to match his exact voice, but he's still trying to capture the character.

I'm  at some of the suggestions in here regarding who should've played juice. Michael b jordan? Eddie Murphy? Tyler Perry? Bruh. I'm not familiar with underwoods work but he looks the part. Cuba is just so damn corny to me. Man, denzel may be the go to black guy but he would've played this role so good that they may have had to reopen the damn case.
