I see quite a few of that in the DC metro area. Folks just cohabitate and fall in love with the idea of the nice big house and cars, but you don't see the love between them.

When I realized I could completely be myself around her. The first time I had the thought was when I told her my favorite shows were The Simpsons and Friends. She laughed and said mine too. This was in 2005 btw, if you're wondering about the shows lol. I held nothing back of the type of person I was when we first started and she loved it. It allowed her to open up more than she ever had.

I ain't married but this how I know she is the one. We met 6 years ago to date BTW. But I am in no way an affectionate person. I don't like kissing, holding hands and cuddling after sex irritates the hell out of me. I kiss her everyday, I hold her hand when I drive sometimes and out of the large number of women I've been with in my life she's the only one I hold after I let loose.
I knew I really cared about her when I got caught cheating once and the hurt in her eyes and crying made me sad as hell. When I legit got sad, I knew my scumbag ways were coming to an end.

Not gone lie, cheating can open your eyes and heart. Found myself cheating with this chick I worked with back in 08. I remember being in her truck, trying to hit from the back, thinking the entire time wtf am I doing here? Barely stroking that *** thinking of how loyal, trusting, and loving my lady was. I pulled a chick moved and faked one and got my *** up out of there. Went home and washed myself with vinegar. It was very hard to do but I told my lady about it. She was very hurt but accepted I told her the truth. She understood when we first started I wasn't looking for anything serious. I laid it out there I was looking to have fun but wanted her to be the Kobe of my team. If you know anything about the Lakers back then Kobe was the team, lol. Just had some lust leftover, in the end it wasn't worth it.
