If you don't believe wearing shoes in the house is a problem, it makes it very clear you did not grow up in an asian household IMO.
I'm not sure what other ethnicities rock with the same set of rules, but anytime I walked in my Grandma's house with shoes on I got a chinella to the back of the head or a threat with the bamboo stick. Even now in my own home I make my girl and her family take their shoes off
I just can't do it. Even when i go to other people's houses i take em off out of respect.
