What you do after work, daily?

go home. grab the wife and son to go to the park or someplace fun. go home and make dinner or eat out. get some snacks from 7-11 or the japanese market. take a shower and bathe my son. put on his PJs. my wife heads to her desk for a long night of studies. my son gets 15 mins with his leappad tablet while i browse nt (right now). when his time is up, he jumps on the bed with me and we watch a few vids, talk and sing until he falls asleep. my wife comes to bed after she's done.

sounds mundane but i've never been happier in my life.

That sounds great.

7:30AM-8PM -- work
8:45PM-2AM -- work from home while sipping whisky

:nthat: what kind of whisky do You prefer? I drink mcclelland's

Anyways. I work 10-7. Go home. Play madden if I have to... Either take a nap or watch TV.

3-4 times a week At around 930-10 I go to the gym. Get out by 1230a go home shower and go to sleep by 1-2am. Wake up at 9 and repeat.

Work 12:30-9. Wake up at 10ish, sometimes go for a run, or watch TV doing nothing. Get off work at 9, sometimes workout, but primarily just surf the internet or watch TV not doing a damn thing til I realize it is 1am and I need to start getting my *** to sleep. Or I will go out with some friends and end up out drinking til too late on a weeknight :smh: I need to get my **** together and be more productive. Switching to 9-6 work hours soon so hopefully that helps

Seems like it can be a burden too. Does it feel like a waste to just chill? I feel I need at least one day a week where I lounge at a cafe or at home.

That's why I always allot at least an hour or two before bed just to relax and watch TV or YouTube videos or a movie.

leave work, hit the gym (bout 3-4 times a week)
come home, put on recording of highly questionable, play with my cat Penny
Shower.
watch recordings of around the horn and pardon the interruption
find out what I am gonna eat
contemplate life and watch Msnbc

my life kind of sucks.

After my first job off to my second job
When I'm off I usually just hit the gym or stay home

I'm trying to find a consistent yet flexible routine to do after work. Yesterday was the closest and simplest one for me:

Work from 6-2:30
Get home around 3, clean up and start laundry
Go to the gym around the 4:30
Get home around 5:50. Shower then go grab dinner (solo or on a date like last night)
Finish up around the house and get ready for the next day
In bed by 9 but didn't get off to sleep til 11 :smh:

But with grad school capstone and a regular class at the same time and working on SB50 stuff for my agency, I find myself tired. I'm skipping class tonight to have dinner with visiting relatives....Any suggestions as to how some of y'all are fully balancing working 40+ hours and grad school?

Bar scene gets incredibly old and stale. Shoot, I was sick of bars by my senior year of college.

I would force myself to go and when I got there I would be like "this is pointless"

I'm taking all my courses online and only one course a semester. Dedicate only and hour or two a night and I'm Gucci.

Yeah I actually have to physically show up or call in as classes are live.

I used to grab either mini bottles of whiskey or tequila and an ipa. Every night after work. Kinda miss it.
