Leftover pizza... reheat or eat at room temperature/cold?

Depends on the pizza and how good it is.

Some are good it doesn't need the reheat. If you keep it multiple days in the fridge you may want to heat it up and add a bit more cheese.

Also depends if you reheat in the microwave, oven, toaster oven or on a pan over the stove. Best is toaster oven imo.

NY Pizza >>>>>>>

Chicago pizza isn't even pizza. The marinara sauce goes UNDER the cheese you fools. UNDER. :smh:

Nope, Chicago style is definitely the superior pie. NY slices are good, but I want great fam
Leave it to an AZ cat to be in to pizza cake

Bruh, I'm not trying to go for a swim when I eat pizza.

Jawns legit look like an above ground pool or some ****.

I'm good on that :x....

Yeen have pizza less you go into a nondescript hole in the wall spot named "Best Pizza" or some other basic **** anywhere in NY.

Straight up. It be the most random, little mom & pop spots out there that will blow your mind with their pizza.

Can't stand pizza out here in AZ. A couple spots are solid and those are ALWAYS ran by transplants from NY.

Nothing like an authentic NY pizzeria. Can't beat the love they put into that pizza.

Chicago spots are almost always chain restaurants b. Especially out here in AZ. Like ******* Nello's. Garbage ****. No charm, no love. Bunch of kids working in the back who have no business making pizza.

I'll leave Chicago pizza a LITTLE benefit of the doubt until I actually visit Chicago and try their spots. But man everything I've ever had thus far has been :x...

So what are the characteristics of New Haven (CT) style pizza exactly?

Well from what I've had, its not round like NYC pizza, it more like oval shaped. Crust is not to thin, not too thick with the right amount of char for that crunch when you take a bite. Sauce is made from scratch, and of course, cheese.

Isn't Italy the source?!

what is reheating pizza?!? i must be weird but cold leftover pizza is life even if its been in the fridge

I gotta vouch for NY pizza. I still say some of the best pizza ive ever had was when i was like 10 at some old church turned restaurant in times square. I wanna say it was called johns but i dont really remember

I don't think i've ever had bad pizza from a New York pizzeria. I had pizza when I was on vacation in florida and it was weak.

Reheat pizza by heating up cast iron skillet.  Let pizza sit there until cheese starts to get hot.  Crust will be crispy.

I mean, doesn't pizza in Italy differ from the pizza we have out here?

It's not like Chicago or NY style, it's def a bit more....rustic?

I mean it's somewhat similar to NY style, but completely different from Chicago style so....

If my formulations are correct...

NY style > Chicago style.

Deep dish is wat tourists eat wen visiting their friends in chicago.

Yeah, if you're going to the country side of Italy in a home the pizza there is similar to NY but way different. They don't use as much cheese. Might not even shred/grate the cheese.

The ones I saw made on those cooking shows were thinner than NYC style.
