Any of you knew any girls in college that were sugarbanbies?  I knew 1 chick, her sugar daddy was really loaded, had vacation house in Hawaii and picked her up on campus in a SLS AMG etc.  Think they are gathering most of the data from SeekingArrangement.  ATL has the most sugar daddy density and it looks like its most prevalent in the south with the highest amount of signups.

i went to school (in Atlanta that school mentioned by Drake) with a stripper, dont know if she was sugar daddied though.

I imagine social media and the desire to maintain a positive image of affluence has been more of a factor.

This is nothing new. As long as there are hot women that don't see a problem with valuing themselves on a monetary scale, there will be suckers subsidizing their lifestyles. I see it all the time now being an east coast transplant in an expensive city. These women cannot afford to live without subsidies from their romantic partners. Dating a dime in a big city is an expensive bill. My sister's friend is 30 and just married a 65 year old dude. Buster bought her a Gwagon for Christmas. The game has always controlled but now a days it seems the costs are a tad bit pricier.

I think you're talking about older dudes mainly.  Isn't that how it usually goes, guys that get rich at 45+ just start finding the young ones from college campuses but nowadays you have seeking arrangement etc.
 
As stated this is nothing new but for some reason I am always surprised and intrigued at the same time when I hear about this. These men and women are made-for-TV movies/docu-drama crime stories waiting to happen.

By the way reading those tagthesponsor entries was mad creepy but entertaining as well. Poeticly_Inclined got made to look like a damn fool. :lol:

friend of mine has a sugar daddy. she basically got her education paid off by some rich guy (divorced man in the banking industry) and goes on getaways with him
