I'm simply calling a spade a spade. An individual who willingly joins a LE agency that continues to use unconstitutional, oppressive & brutal methods is an agent of oppression and injustice.



The "i'm simply doing my job" argument is invalid. Point blank. No excuse for ignorance.

Doctors do a lot of unethical *** too....a lot of jobs come with their BS....believe it or not some people do take that path with good intentions at heart, some become doctors simply to make money and practice poorly costing people lives, some go through med school because they wanted to make a difference for the positive, same can be said about cops, some join for the badge of invincibility and the thirst for power, some join because they want to actually serve and protect....because every Halloween they dressed up as a cop, maybe their father was a good cop and they wanted to follow in footsteps, maybe is something they always dreamed of being....how you gonna judge them all the same based on a broken system....is like saying a doctor is bad based on the hospital he/she works for....

If you don't see the ignorance in that, I'm not sure you know what ignorance means.

It doesn't work like that. People are at the MERCY of a broken justice system. Corrupt police forces plague this nation. People shouldn't have to accept the system & the parts that comprise it because there's no alternative.

You simply feel differently about them than he does. Pretty clear the threat of corruption isn't prioritized and seen as the same concern.

But the difference is, and it's an obvious one. Doctors don't ******* join unions to lobby for unjust LAWS. They don't actively protect each other from being subject to the same laws everyone else is subject to.


No, doctors do a lot of other shady, ****** up, outright despicable things. However, it's a lazy ******* parallel you're trying to make.

I'm always amazed at how big of a deal is made out of cops getting shot.  

Am I wrong for thinking that potentially getting murked is a hazard of the type of job that requires you to strap on a bulletproof vest?  Like yo, your job is to protect society from the "bad guys", so naturally you're going to come into contact with said bad guys while working.  And sometimes they're strapped and are willing to shoot you.  

Yeah, it's not cool when anyone gets shot and/or dies.  But hey, it happens.  Just like it happens to civilians that encounter the bad guys, who ironically are sometimes cops.

But this heir of complacency is ******* pathetic....People need to wake up and realize that it's not just the NYPD but our criminal justice system as a whole is ******* broken.


We're barreling towards election season and people have their thumbs up their *****.


Unjust policing is incentivized monetarily in this country. Our current system BANKS on nonviolent crime and recidivism for such crime. There is a certain candidate that looks to change that. Looks to focus on rehabilitation not incarceration.



And there are special interest groups, I think we know WHO by now, that don't want that candidate in office. That actively funds politicians that would allow our prison industrial system to stay the way it is.



If people can't put the puzzle pieces together, looking at the bigger picture, then maybe they need to be spoon-fed. I got my spoon.

Cops aren't firefighters or EMTs ( who are true heroes). We should give more praise to true heroes instead of crime fighters who work to enforce unjust laws and protect the property of the ruling elite.
 
Glad I don't live there. I'm sure the police are going to be going ham even more now. Last thing I want to see is police everywhere on a mission for revenge. Straight mob mentality and they have no one to answer to.

The health care system in this country is also broken. Still, I don't disregard every health provider based on the majority.

Not saying they deserved it but I rather be alive to tell my side of the story then be a pack and have people slandering my character left and right over the internet without even knowing me just because if the police turned me into a BLM pack that I must have been guilty before innocent.:roll eyes
