The world's first sneaker stock market.

I was a beta tester. Anyone else?

It's live now.

As I mentioned, I was a beta tester. I've been using it for about a month now. We weren't allowed to discuss it outside of the test. I was wondering if anyone else had the same experience.

It'e better than ebay. All transactions go through StockX and they will verify the authenticity of the shoe before shipping it to the buyer.

I haven't used it but was checking it out, and will def consider using it. Some of the asks are a little high, but you have to consider it is eliminating all the negative variables that plague eBay. Some of the asks are pretty reasonable. I mean $350 for size 13/14 for Jordan 1 SBBs is not that bad imo. I'm curious to see how this evolves. I read they thought 15k pairs would be listed. I was on earlier and there were 16K.. A few hours later.. pushing 20K. Also allows you to place bids, eliminates negotiations, can list without sending to a consignment shop.

How much are they charging to use their services? I've been over Ebay for some time now and Kixify isn't any better honestly.

Man thats a lot smh That's why i don't fool with ebay and kixify want 8%

I mean I get it, you have to break the middle man off with something,

but it becomes a hassle when you're basically giving up 20% + whatever shipping is.

i don't see the issue NT has with it

It's the games ppl play on there man.

Ppl are beyond snake like on there.

And as far as the fee's, you just have to do a lot.

Say the person doesn't pay for the shoes and you forget

to cancel said order....they still taking something out of

your paypal for it.  Then when a mistake is made on their

part you have to jump thru the most hoops to MAYBE get

your money back...Ebay can definitely play you crazy.

Before you know it they've had you go back and forth

between them and paypal, which is too annoying.

I forgot to cancel a order one time and instead of refunding

me my money they told me they'd just reimburse me by

taking that amount off my next monthly invoice....Like nah

bro I need that now! They have no problem bending the

rules is my issue. And playing with my money just isn't coo.

No. New with box only. Eventually new with replacement box. In the long run, who knows.

They handle the shipping AND they guarantee authenticity. Their FAQ even says buyers can't cancel or return orders. I like that.

Sold a few pairs. Only gripe is the turnaround for Payment but ehh, I can't get charged back
post #24 of 259
If I buy a shoe today, whats the turnaround for me to get it delivered? Depending where the person is, the StockX facility and where you are it could take a while.

Not sure about turnaround but it's my understanding both the buyer and seller pay shipping. Can you clarify on that point @Edshoecator ?

Too much of a hassle if you ask me. The best places where buyers feel comfortable is still eBay imo. Do the math and he invoice. No stressing as a buyer nor seller.

No one has the time to worry about getting paid, or if shoes were shipped and etc.

I get the idea, but the lack of traffic and confidence doesn‘t seem like its a worth while platform.

Going to give this a go.

Just made an account and decided to purchase the KD 6 "Easters" for the buy it now price of $121. There's a $10 shipping fee so the total goes to $131.

Now it's time to sit back & see how long it takes for me to get the shoes.
