Will Smith says he made a parenting mistake on BBC radio

like i said, if it wasnt someone famous like jaden and just another street cat on this bs, it wouldnt even be an issue

dudes in here fighting for men to wear dresses when we even cant even wear hoodies safely :smh:

I'm wearing a hoodie for the probably 30th time this year. Safety has not been an issue

I agree if it wasn't a celeb nobody would care THIS much. He would just get made fun of by people around him instead of the Internet ganging up on him.

Essentially yes, wear whatever you want to wear and that should be ok.
I see it as a statement because of his celebrity status and influence. We can agree to disagree on that.
So does this only apply to WEARING what you want to wear when it comes to personal expression and being "free" to do whatever you want?

What if it comes to me running around SAYING what I want to say, to whomever. Would I still be praised when it comes to "doing as I please?"

Or is that different?

I love when you do this

So Colombia, a few years ago Morehouse College banned men from wearing "womens" clothing on campus and to class. They said it was a distraction to the student body.

I would assume that you would call that an act of bigotry on their part correct?

Yes. What sort of bs excuse is "distraction to the student body" lol.

I would assume many of their financial backers weren't cool with that and they might have threatened to remove those dollars if those students didn't stop "making the school look bad."

It also needs to be said that in that same policy change, Morehouse banned sagging pants and do-rags.

Forcing black men to "conform or else" seems to go against everything Morehouse has stood for.

This is such a non issue. That "bigot" word is thrown around too loosely though. Just cause someone disagrees with you, it doesn't make them a "bigot" Having that boy who cried wolf mentality with the word diminishes its credibility.

That said, who cares if he wants to wear a dress. No ones stopping him from doing so. Nothing wrong with being clowned about it either. The same way if you saw one of your friends wearing something silly, tall tees, South Pole, uspa, etc, or if they got a bad hair cut or something like that. You'll get on them for it and keep it moving. The jokes are harmless at the end of the day.

In that case it could be excused because the consequences of cut funding would negatively the school more than having that rule. The financial backers would be the bigots in that case, forcing the hand of the school leadership.
However I don't think that situation is that common. I'm sure it happens but I think most of the time the reason is simpler than that.
Bigoted school leadership introducing a bigoted rule.

So is a no sagging rule bigoted too?

Do you ever have any points, man? I feel like you just ask questions.

DC: but but but question but

I dated a girl who had a similar approach. I deaded that because it always felt like the questions were baited and loaded. It also felt like she was devoid of a spine. Like her questions were her way of saying something without saying anything.

edit: not comparing you to women in general, just a woman I dated. "Woman" being a generous term.

I ask a lot of questions sure but to ask if I EVER have points in a thread where I have made claims just shows you don't read

You're right, you do make points. Although, I feel like your questions are more indicative of your opinion than they are actual questions.

I would be a cross dresser if it weren't for these ugly *** knees of mine. When I was like 10 I wrecked my bike in the rain. I still have a scar.

I'm gonna try it out, though. I'm going to get all sexy and do my wife from behind while screaming "who's your fellow Pinterest user? That's right *****!" I'll report back.

The only thing I'm self conscious about is my pipe print showing through dresses. :smh:

I'm not. I have watched Silence of the Lambs so many times. My tuck game is on point.

So can you see why one would possibly not want to answer your questions? They aren't really questions.
Real men answer questions and don't run from the fires

"Real men." Man, you have a weird hangup with perceived masculinity.

Huh? I'm just saying why would I answer a question that really isn't being asked. I'm not running from anything.

Sometimes I legit can't tell if you are really asking a question or if it's rhetorical. Questions are supposed to further the conversation. More often than not, your reply to an answer is just another question.

I'm not being a **** here, just an observation.

Why wouldn't you compare 1 woman to another woman?

Because that doesn't concern me. I don't know if DC is a man or a woman. I wouldn't generalize woman characteristics anyway.
