====== EPIC Flyknit Series ======

Anybody know how the lows fit and which insole it has?

I sized up half on the regular LEs but that's because I use the thicker insole, this one doesn't seem to have the extra insole but which do they use in the lows? The thinner or thicker one?

Chances are no one here has a pair in hand yet but anyone knows at least which insole it will come with?

Buy a pair from KicksUSA and then exchange with Nike if they don't fit (assuming you live near a Niketown).

I heard it only comes with 1 insole (thinner one).

you could do that?

exchange a pair in a Niketown even if not purchased there?

Yeah.  Take advantage of that. No receipt needed.  Especially if you are just doing a size swap.  People do it with tech fleece all the time.

For example, I bought a tech knit windrunner at Harrods in London.  Came back to the US and found it to be too small.  I had worn it for a month.  Brought it into NT Santa Monica and they exchanged it for a larger size--no questions asked.

Damn, I know Nike tries to go above and beyond but that is insane

Are tags needed for clothes?

I guess the next question is, are the LE lows available in Nike Stores yet?

This and their return policy is why they get my business. Superb Customer Service.

Tags would be helpful--it really depends on the manager at the time, but as long as it has tags, you should be good. My TK didn't have tags attached.

Lows should hit stores on June 30.

The lows are pointless if you have any of The 3 lunars IMO. The collar is what make these what they are.

Agree but disagree. I think the laser cut lunarlon is what makes these. Coming from someone who has ran in the last 3 Lunarglides, last two FK Lunars & tempos. I know the new Lunarglide 8 has almost the same lunarlon set up but no Flyknit on the Lunarglide 8. I think the cushion on these is what really makes these what they are IMO

I agree.  Fk Lunars 1-3 have nothing on the Epic's cushioning.

Is there a change in the amount of lunarlon in them or do the cuts along the midsole make a significant difference?
It seems the lunarlon construction is different than past models. All I know is when I first put them on, it was amazingly comfortable.

Only thing with the lows that bother me is the tongue is no longer locked down like on the lunar 3. I think they just want a clear difference between these and the high

These lunar epic lows look like just the Flyknit max weave thrown on the lunar bottom.

Exactly!! nothing new here Nike better get it togther. With thier design team.
Adidas killing them with the UB, NMD.
As popular as they are, I have NEVER thought the NMDs are good looking. The lego brick things look like an awkward afterthought and, without them, they'd look like generic knockoffs (think Sketchers latest Boost/Flyknit knockoffs) IMO.

I own a pair of UBs, and while they are super comfy, I haven't really worn them as much as my Flyknit Racers or been as tempted to buy a second pair. My eyes are definitely on these Lunarepic LTs, especially if they make the Gotte d'Eau-esque colorway (blue/green weave with the volt flywire) in a low. I do agree though that the upper looks more like a Flyknit Max and has a more bulbous toe and bulky shape... Can anyone comment on that who's gotten a pair?

All Nike has to do to maintain their $30 BILLION lead is stop releasing dumb colorways (pink/volt, green/orange, etc.) that you can't wear with most stuff and focus on releasing wearable, comfortable, and AFFORDABLE options. My biggest complaint for Nike is that they seem to think $200 is the new standard for what a shoe should cost. I'm sure some are willing to pay that, but I will wait (as I'm sure many others will) until those prices hit sub $150 and possibly lower, depending on the model.

160 for the low isn't too bad but I'm waiting for them to go on sale.. prolly will fork out full price for the mc's though..

Yea I'm the opposite this year, for me is all boost summer. Last year I was pushing lunar flyknit and the chukkra's. The designs seem off to me and like I said prices starting @200,lol I don't like that whole extra little sock on the ankle area. I know Nike is killing, when ur at the top there's no where else to go but[emoji]11015[/emoji]️
