Nike Air Max lunar 90 infrared - Weird paint chipping

Can anyone explain this weird paint chipping on my Lunar 90 Infrareds??  I've never seen the paint wear like this.  Its like it was a paint that doesnt flex with the sole.  Anyone else seen this before?

These shoes are only like 2 mo old.

I have never seen an airmax shoe where the paint hasn't come off. I guess in your case, it's the accordion shaped midsole that makes it crack like that.

Funny how this looked exactly like my HUF Air Max 90 midsole when I bought them new back in 2007 after only a week of wear I'm not joking.
