How has social media changed your life?

Can't **** with it. I understand getting paid and building a brand etc. But nah. In my soul I hate it. I feel way better not being on the internet period, than being on the internet. I"m old school doe.

The early Facebook and Myspace days doubled my yamb rate :pimp: ...easy to hit something and find out here the move/party is on social media but that's about it tho

It has made it easier to stay in touch with family and friends overseas, although apps like WhatsApp and imessage have made social media less relevant to me

To people who hate social media, do you consider the fact that you get to select who you interact with on social media?

It has changed my life but not really in the way most people would think.

I sell social media usernames for profit. Helps keep me busy while I'm stuck at home due to my illness and I earn more than enough to provide for myself and some luxury. From July 2015 to now I've earned roughly $9000 in untaxed income so yeah it has made a pretty positive impact on my life.

why would it be?
because social media sites usually come and go at the snap of a finger. We quickly went from Myspace to Facebook then from Facebook to Twitter. Seems like we would have had another site come and challenge the popularity of Twitter by now.

I still don't get snapchat. I cringe when I'm in the club and I see dudes with there phones out all bright as **** lip syncin songs

I wouldn't even say it went from FB to twitter. FB at one point was exclusively college students, then expanded to everybody. Twitter's prwtty much been all encompassing, that's why it hasn't been replaced.

Remember how fast cinemagram got replaced by vine? cinemagram is basically dial-up status now.

They should be tossed out for that B.S.

so far the only thing I've managed to post is vids showing off my 2 cars, me bumping some music inside my new car, the outfits I put together for work & my kicks of the day..... Hell that's stuff I can do on Instagram where I already have a nice following.

My boy is balls deep snapchatting lipsyncs and blowing hookah....is cringe worthy, but that's his thing so I'm not gonna knock it

I don't get the social aspect of snapchat, you post a video/pic which deletes in a day, no one can comment or even like, besides a DM there really is close to no interaction....maybe I'm just seeing this from a photographers perspective, I post on IG to get clients and socialize with other vendors around the world...

I only **** with snapchat right now, everyone is trying to get me to create an Instagram, but I honestly don't see myself using it.

I like Snapchat I like seeing what others are doing. The **** I see on there makes me laugh!

Or they're post pictures vidoes of a place they're at that I haven't been to or know about, then I'll hit them up like "Where's that at?"

The automatic delete is clutch! The naked ***** that receive is money!

Facebook is dead. Twitter for laughs/music & sports. Instagram to view photographers and graphic designers so I can get better at both. Friends and certain entertainers on snapchat.
