The Art Of Organized Noise (documentary) trailer

I thought it was a solid documentary but it kind of felt like it was missing something. The star power they got to appear was impressive.

Was a good doc. Didnt know Diddy directed the first 'kast vid. My moms house is right around the corner from headland/delowe. Felt good to see my area repped. Also I felt bad for buddy who wrote waterfalls, dude look like he struggling smh

I remembered they said Puffy directed it. He threw the Tommy Hilfiger on Big Boi & gave Dre his necklace. If you look at when Dre is playing pool with his shirt off that's Puff necklace & charm he used to wear all the time

And dude also help write "Don't Let Go" too

I think like all documentaries about a musician or group it focuses a lot on their beginning and rise and leaves a lot out of the latter half of their career. Otherwise it was a great documentary. Really enjoyed it.

Watched this last night. Good doc, though slow in the beginning. Stuffed picked up pretty much once Outkast was introduced. Also liked the part where they were talking about how money started to change how they were looking at each other as far as producing with each other, and the parts comparing working with LA Reid vs Jimmy Ionvine.

That dude Rico Wade looked like a addict not fully recovered though. He looked baaaaaaad

Yeah, Rico is still on that stuff. It was painfully obvious--straight basehead tendencies all thru the doc.

Thought it was a pretty good watch overall. I didn't realize ONP had a handful of mainstream pop/R&B hits other than Waterfalls. They may be one of the most versatile production teams from this era of modern music.

And after watching the doc, it's crazy when you start thinking about their influence on music. There are a lot of producers out there that owe their careers to them (as is the same with 'Kast).

I thought it was dope. Rico looked messed up though. Damn, sad to see them go down like that. He also seemed real hurt by Outkast. I guess they cool but still. Organized Noize had some real ****** music though.

I remember seeing all their artists albums in magazines and **** but I never heard any of those albums. Like Cool Breeze and ****. I don't think those got any love outside of the south really. I remember my boy stealing Slimm Calhoun's CD from the store, I got that Even In Darkness album.

They gave Roscoe (Kurupt's brother) a banger. I played the hell out of that song "Head 2 Toe". They gave Big Boi some HEAT on his first solo album too.

Rico looks like a completely different person. Every time they showed the throwback photos i couldnt believe that was the same person.

Cool Breeze definitely got love outside of the south.

Cre-a-tine was everywhere

I remember Cre a tine. I'm sure all them got some play outside of the south but none of them really popped. About to get my googles on and see all their releases. Joi was looking like she get wild in that documentary.

Watch For The Hook was probably bigger than Cre-A-Tine.

Though I prefer Cre-A-Tine much more.

It was a good documentary. I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would. I didn't really know much about them leaving LaFace.

It's interesting how La Reid didn't know anything about rap, but seemed to sort of just get lucky and a right time and right place situation, and then actually became head of Def Jam :smh:

I think drugs might have aged Rico. He looks older than the rest.

Them on Rap Radar was a good companion.

I thought it was interesting when they mentioned Interscope had funded them like crazy but didn't really understand their vision, but LaFace didn't have the same type of money, but fully understood what they wanted to do with their music

Yeah, especially the part where they said they could have stayed and collected more of the 20 mil.

I think it was more of LaFace trusted them and let them do them, because LaFace was new to rap, where as Interscope with they kept wanting another Waterfalls or Eminem. They were in it for the hits.

They just dropped a 7 joint EP and it's stupid :x :pimp:

Where the **** is 3000 to rap on these??????

I need more. I pray they at least work with Big Boi on his new solo. Andre is just a mythical creature at this point.

They executive produced the album.

This summer, he is returning with Boomiverse, the first of two planned releases, and bringing on an all-star cast with confirmed features from Organized Noize (who executive produced the album), Gucci Mane, Killer Mike, Kurupt, Cee Lo Green, Sleepy Brown, Eric Bellinger and unreleased vocals from Pimp C.
