I had two homies rap and I'm glad they stopped. Wanted to tell them they sucked but didn't want to sound like a "hater"
Had another homie drop a track on me on facebook, told him it was fire and keep it up.
Hate is only when the intent is negative IMO. But nah, I'm not gonna stomp on anybody's dream. Wish em well and help em look for a back up plan

This is one of my childhood homies. His raps are a snooze fest and I've been trying to let him know but don't want to break his heart, so haven't exactly used those words.
Still support tho he loves making music so no hate over here.

I think his music is very good, and I thoroughly enjoy listening to it. This is to say that, yes, i think he is talented.
Now is he talented enough to make it? That's honestly a hard question to answer. We all know that it takes money and connections to make it in the music biz. Sure, there are those few exceptions who blew up on some undiscovered steez, but the majority will have to pay to play (aint drake pay to the tune of 1.5M to get "discovered"?), and that's where my friend is at a disadvantage. Sometimes, when you have real responsibilities, it's just hard to dedicate all the time you aught to dedicate to your craft. In my friend's case, time spent promoting his music. That's why i tried to help him out by promoting his music on NT.

Lol I got that, but with me I bought my boy's CD, never opened it. Then one day I gave him a ride and he told me to pop the CD in(he knew I had all my CDs in my CD case) and unbeknownst to him, his CD was under the driver's seat chair unopened. So when he got out of the car to get some crispy-creme, I opened it with the quickness and familiarized myself with his popular songs before he got back in. Thank god it wasn't bad because if he was garbage I would have laughed.
