TEEN GETS ON BUS WITH SEVERED ARM AFTER BROOKLYN SNEAKER ROBBERY VICTIM RUNS DOWN ASSAILANT IN SUV

Watched the video. Pretty clear the guy most definitely lost his mind there after having a gun pointed at him. Then to factor in the emotions that go along with that... yeah.

The U turn and then running him down is pretty open shut in terms of intent. Now the question is, is there a loop hole he can use to get off.

Not saying I condone what happened, but people have to learn that you can't do whatever you please to others and not expect retaliation. Also on that same note, you can't take the law into your own hands like that.

He was getting his stuff back though. I doubt if he said "hey thief, stop running and give me my shoes back" that the thief would've complied so that was the best option to deter the thief and prevent him from escaping.

by running him over and possibly committing vehicular homicide? nah

What would be a nicer, more fun way to get your stuff back from someone with a gun?

Totally unrelated situations that aren't connected but I was just wondering about it,didn't Tony Stewart kill a man by running him over in a race? I don't remember him ever being charged for that yet this dude runs someone over in retaliation for being robbed at gunpoint and now he's facing attempted murder charges?

tony stewart was probably hyped when he heard the story but then disappointed when he heard the person was alive.

hope they go lenient on the the drivers punishment and use the one arm robber to set an example of someone who robs someone else who had acquired merchandise the legal way.

Honda pilot driver

one arm robber

Retail was out of the question the kid wanted a free pair, and probably would have kept on robbing until he got caught or got what was coming to him like so.

Driver might catch a few charges, but that kid found out what happens when you bring a gun in the equation.

I hate these stories, because if he was trying to steal a watch I wonder if it would be publicized the same way. It makes the sneaker community look bad.

at the end the day we need to be safer about meet ups. There was no reason they should have met in his car.

People don't seem to understand the difference of how the law works and what they think is "right"

It doesn't matter if they guy was emotional at the time, or if the kid deserves it. Running the kid down is going to cost him a lot of time/money

Lol @ cats calling FLOORING an suv at a teen not attempted murder. Also the gun didnt jam... hes lying it was a revolver haha. Also I havent heard "loaded" yet... dude got robbed with a starter pistol and lost his cool

Its a shame the youngin put him in that situation but yea you cant floor a 3k lbs Honda Pilot at someone annd not be trying to murk them

Kid only survived both their stupidity by the grace of God

Doesnt matter if it was a starter pistol or not. You think in the heat of the moment when that kid pulled the gun on the driver he was looking at the piece to determine what kind of weapon it was? Come on... A guns a gun at that point dont matter semi-automatic, revolver, starter pistol or replica.

Im still trying to decide if the kid even robbed him to begin with.

Just from watching the video, the kid exits the car leisurely crosses the street and proceeds up the sidewalk. No sense of urgency at all to get out of that area.

im thinking he may have had the gun as protection should he have felt threatened possibly, or kid tried to pull a fast one n shorted him money or gave some counterfeit.

If he did truly rob him then dude was an idiot for just thinking it was over and he can walk away n not have to worry about anything, possibly the cops being called or him being followed.

Both parties took an L, and the driver didnt just speed in to a u-turn or peel out, he basically drove off like it all was ok then all of a sudden came back to run him over.

It's crazy how people place so much value on a pair of sneakers. The younger generation is out of control. When you get older and have kids you realize what's really important. i haven't paid more then $80 for a pair of sneakers in years. Sold all my Jordan's and just kept the foams. No point in holding on too them. Poverty is everywhere I understand that. Having a pair of $200 sneakers on your feet doesn't mean you have money in your pocket. I have seen plenty of kids with retro Jordan's snacking on chicken wings in front of there building.
