TEEN GETS ON BUS WITH SEVERED ARM AFTER BROOKLYN SNEAKER ROBBERY VICTIM RUNS DOWN ASSAILANT IN SUV

I dont really blame the driver. I mean the kid pulled a gun on him and apparently it jammed meaning he was going to shoot him from close range over some ****** mikes. He had what was coming to him.
If the kid was about to shoot him and the gun jammed, I don't have any problem with the driver running him down. That kid doesn't deserve that arm, hopefully it was same arm that he had the gun in when he tried to shoot that man.

From what i read and heard in the news videos they said the gun jammed. He definately deserved this and i hope the driver is cleared of everything.

If the gun jammed after the kid attempting to murder the driver, I have zero sympathy. I can't blame anyone for running someone down who tried to kill you.

lol this whole thread is straight

The gun looks like a revolver so I doubt it jammed. (Yes all guns can malfunction)

If he did try to shoot him, calmly get out of the car and walked away at a regular pace...that seems odd. Same with the driver waiting and thinking. pulling away then turning around to run him down. If he would have turned the wheel and stepped on the gas right when dude almost walked in front of the SUV he would have a shot at self defense.

You don't have to feel sorry for dude losing his arm or have a problem with dude retaliating with his car but it's still against the law

Plus driver could be saying that because he knows he messed up by running dude over. There were too many people/cars around to shoot somebody in broad daylight.

that dude had every right to do something in the heat of the moment, but coming back for retaliation afterwards is going to cost him the case if you ask me.

Thats what is so ****** up about the law. Its all in how its interpreted.
If there was no video he could easily say he just wanted to follow the robber so he wouldnt get away but he turned the gun on him and he hit him out of self defense.

Cops use that excuse all the time.

But since there was video, and the kid was running for his life in it, he's done.

I mean, dude did have a gun pulled on him....jammed or not, I don't blame the driver one bit for what he did. HE was the victim.

Funny thing is the story doesn't end there.

He then (out of the face of danger) bust a U turn to run down the aggressor turned victim.

Yup. I love hearing about vigilante justice. Dat sweet revenge.

He shouldn't be charged with murder, be charged with awesomeness.

Best believe if a person tries to kill me or severely hurt me, if I have the opportunity to do something worse or make them suffer then i'd probably do it.

Indeed; big difference if he would of ran him over once he gotten out the car, or during the process of getting out the car.

Only in self defense.

This was not self defense.

Doesn't seem like the robber was trying to kill or severely hurt dude.

If dude would of had a pistol and shot the robber while in the car I'd be all good.

But to let the robber get out your car and walk away only to run him down is scumbaggish and he deserves some sort of punishment.

I see where a lot of you guys are coming from saying running the robber down was a bad decision...but how many of you have had a gun pulled out and your life threatened? It's scary. You literally get caught off guard and the mix of emotions right after are a trip. If I had the opportunity to run down the person that did it to me RIGHT after it happened I probably would have. Not saying it's the right choice, but you aren't in the right mind set after something like this happens to you.
