Getting these for sure, on launch day.
Only debate I have is what size to get, have the Barons in 8.0 and they rub my pinky toe. Might go with an 8.5
About to try my Barons to compare.

Yeah I may wait a week after release and see if I can get my hands on a discount code to at least eat up tax on these
 
I always like Greg Street vids, JB can have the jumpman on the bottom of the left shoe facing the correct way like the og's but nooooo not on the side smdh

Finally saw those purple joints in a few spots at the mall and they've got some stiff pleather on em.. I imagine these will be about the same. Lot of talk about the TB3 having wack materials too. I know Nike/JB doesn't use top quality stuff on mass produced kicks (or any really), but for $200+ after tax and the "remaster" gimmick, seems like they would use something halfway decent. Wouldn't mind another pair, but I'll definitely wait for some price drops. It's getting easier to hold off on grabbing Js on RD with the once again declining quality.
 
Why does it seem like jb didn't actually remaster these and the true blues materials wise? At least last year's and maroons had very nice materials.

I haven't owned a pair of IX's since the flint grey french blue's from '02 and I remember those being one of the most comfy J's I've owned. It's a shame of all these recent trash cw's are bricks.
Any NTers tried these on feet can comment on this release?

Haha I know that may have sounded a little hypebeasty but trust I'm the most non beast head you'll ever meet. I just cop what I like and this CW I've managed to miss out on forever so although i would pefer the the bigger forward facing jumpman it's not enough to deter me from copping these and after reading that article on SNKRS and seeing Tinkers concept art I actually think it's cool. I was noting that if Nike wanted to really hype these they would use that to their advantage instead of just leaving everyone pissed about the backwards jumpman.

It's been brought to my attention that some people refer to these as 'playoff' 9s. Can someone tell me why?
