​  The only thing I could come up with is in 1993, right before they headed to phoenix for the finals.  There was a photo of MJ wearing the 9s in practice.   Which of course they were still in the playoffs.  That photo was printed in newspapers causing a stir for when retail stores were going to get them.  The 9 would've been huge if he kept playing.             4th ring in 94

  Nope.    It was Hubert Davis who wore them playing for the knicks.

   I know the jumpman size and direction means a lot.   But these are fire as f---.  Brings me back to 94 being a stupid teen without a clue with no responsibilities.   They look good on feet  with jeans, shorts etc.     IN FOR THESE.

The prices on retros are ridiculous, haven't bought a pair of J's since '10. I remember when the black/red XIV retroed in '05 and they were $150...I thought it was crazy at the time and here we are now.
