Air Jordan IX Wht/Black/Red HOLIDAY 2016

Was supposed to get these today, but the bish ash FedEx driver never came and then marked it as if I wasn't home. Whats the point of having delivery if I gotta end up picking the ish up? Thank god for the Villa deal free shipping.
 
Honestly I know everybody rides the holiday 11 hype but these might be the best shoe to release this holiday. I am super happy with the quality on my pairs and I have honestly been waiting to cop these again for a long time. I don't see the leather complaint and quite honestly I'm so past quality conversations I wouldn't even care(didn't buy trues tho). As far as the jumpman I don't really car about that either. These were a great pick up and honestly the only shoe I truly cared about other than triple black UBS and I took that L like a champ! View media item 2253442
 
finally got to see these in person and hold them in hand today as i was picking up a fresh batch of rSBB from a local restock. not too bad. leather felt good. obviously better than the '10s, but the leather quality was even better than the '02s imo IIRC. my only gripe is still i wish the mudguard cut was higher like they did with the pl on SJs. i don't really care about the direction the jumpman is facing on the midsole. my pair is scheduled to arrive tmrw. these prolly won't see light of day til spring or something. gotta keep them white outsoles clean. these and 12s are really the only kicks i'll tolerate white outsoles.

Yea that mudguard height was irking me , I took my pair back and replaced em with another pair. The ones below are much better mud guard height wise.
When u get em tomorrow ,take the trees and that ankle cardboard out, youll see its even nicer leather wise without all that in them, its partially soft. [emoji]128169[/emoji]s on the tb3 uppers, as well as the overall look .

The '16 Chi 9s better resemble the late '93/'94 OG Chi 9s appearance wise.
(outside that J-man direction)

Late to the game here, how do these fit? Do they fit similar to the Jordan V black Metallics (for comparison)?
 
glad you asked. i went half a size up still felt slightlyyyyyyyyyy snug. i decided to go an entire size up feels better. but once i take off the sneaker my foot feels relieved. 
 
Second and last Jordan purchase of the year for me (white cement 4's beginning of year). These 9's are my favorite jordans that I never owned for some reason.

I received my pair and I love them. The laces are strange tho, seem like they may fray very easily but overall satisfied
 
I know there are sizing discrepancies, but most of y'all do know the shoe is supposed to be snug on purpose when you go TTS, right? That's the purpose of the inner bootie. Gotta allow these to break in.
 
Now if they would just give us another retro of Charcoals!!! I'd finally be able to move on from 9s. Still don't know how I missed out on the last time they were retro'd, but please JB [emoji]128591[/emoji][emoji]127998[/emoji]
 
FedEx playin games. Supposed to deliver these to a local store today for me to pick up, but they never got there. Called them and they said that sometimes it takes 24hrs. So they should be there tomorrow by noon. FOH nef.

Be so bent if they "lost" these.

Part of me wants to hit Villa for a promo code like all y'all youngns. 20% lol
