This unruly mess I've made, Macklemore's new project

I dont give a damn about Macklemore. I downloaded the Heist and deleted it after 1 listen. The features on this new album look kinda interesting tho, so I may give this one a try when it leaks

Tis the season? It's been that way since like 2010 :lol: had it not been for the production, there's a load of guys I wouldn't be listening to right now
 
I would think that Young Thug and Future are worse than Macklemore at least he spits some meaningful stuff.

I don't disagree with that. I'm not completely discrediting him as an artist. I appreciate that he kind of does him as opposed to doing Slim Jesus.

Just not a fan of his lyrics or his delivery persay.

That was more of a fluid thought. Where I was ******* with Preme's beat heavy then he started rapping and it went South for me.

Which is something I've been commenting on in another thread.

The fact that KRS has produced legendary material would never allow me to call him horrible. Just past his prime.

With that said, I haven't checked since Return Of The Boom Bap. And didn't even make it to his verse on this when I first listened.

I listened now and it wasn't that bad to me. Maybe writers (graf) would appreciate it even more. Maybe not.

Not a Macklemore fan but I'll check this out, see if it turns me into a fan.
I like the White Privilege II track but hate Downtown, that song is terrible.

Album was decent. Didn't turn me into a big fan but I also didn't get the urge to skip any songs aside from Downtown.

Overall I'd say it was an enjoyable listen, just not really something I see myself revisiting often.

The subject matter varies, some deep socially conscious cuts and some more casual cuts. Good balance of both imo.

The production is great, it compliments Macklemore really well.
