There needs to be a 3rd option of it depends.

I'm pro-life...I wouldn't want my seed to be aborted. I don't take joy in the thought of abortion.

But I'm pro-choice because what I think isn't the end all, be all. I have no right to tell anyone else how they're going to approach a subject that affects them personally.

People who are pro life should have to register as such and be forced to agree to an impromptu adoption of any newborn child (regardless of gender, race, or health complications) within 30 days of notification.

can we be situational?

wait. that makes you pro choice doesn't it..?

FTR, pro-life =/= anti-abortion. It's an abuse of language to equate both, and it has served anti-abortion groups very well so far.

Now, if you're OK with the idea of women drinking bleach and inserting coat hangers in their uterus to get rid of a fetus they don't want, be my guest. I'm not OK with that, which is why I support women having the legal means to interrupt their pregnancy.

Pro-life with the exception of rape....any other excuse you give me as to why two people conceived and they were not supposed to is irrelevant....use protection or get a **** vasectomy

^^ what a surprise to see an ignorant opinion from you :rolleyes

Pro choice. Women own that right & their gonna do it whether it's legal or not.

Unless that child is a product of a traumatic experience (rape) I don't see what woman will go to such extremes as to put her own life at risk by doing this...but if she does take it there because "well I got pregnant and I'm scared or BD is a deadbeat" I can't find a cell in my body that will sympathize with her....but that's my personal stance, nobody here needs to agree with it.

Light bulb!

If you have to add an "if" statement, it should be legal for women to get, regardless. The government shouldn't be policing women's bodies.

Women are going to get abortions ANYWAY, as history has shown. Better to have them done in clean, sterile, safe environments.

One's moral beliefs shouldn't govern the entire country. If YOU don't believe in abortion, then YOU don't get one.

Pro choice. I support abortion. The reason for my views is that I think of the kid, not the parents.

I'm of the belief that incompetent parents shouldn't be be getting a kid in the first place but it happens.

I would rather have the option for abortion available to everyone than have the kid grow up with parents who don't want him in the first place or are incompetent parents.

I don't see abortion as killing a child. During the period that an abortion is allowed, it's just an embryo/fetus.

I don't see it as a child yet at that stage.

Pro choice. Women own that right.

Fam refrain from personally attacking me, learn to get your point across without the personal attacks.
