OG Nike Air Jordan III Retro True Blue BLACK FRIDAY '16

What up NT,

I have been lurking around this post for a while and I must say I'm scratching my head at all of the post about the quality of these True Blues. I'm thinking to myself that the shoe game has gotten so messed up that cats are out here with magnifying glasses trying to find flaws in their shoes. There is just way too much hype. I feel like people of finding reasons not to like this shoe because it was widely released and not limited. That's silly to me.

I'm going to take you back. This is me lacing up the ORIGINAL true blue's back in '88 (or '89, I forget).

Back then nobody cared about release quantities. As a matter of fact, J's sat on the shelf just like the other sneakers. If you were lucky to get a pair you were fresh and people would "ride your jock" all day.  Those were the good ol' days.

The point I'm trying to make it that it's silly harping over things like what the elephant print looks like, or what the leather feels like, or how these will sit on the shelf, or how much you paid. This is a dope shoe... period. They originals were not perfect nor are these. Just rock them!

And by the way, the OG true blues came out around this time in '88. I got them for Christmas!

  Great story, awesome pic.

****** in here with a microscope breaking the shoe down at all angles ...quality been hit or miss for over 5 years.

I can barely see what y'all talkin about with these pics so I know nobody can see flaws on ya feet.

I love mine. The leather isn't great, but it doesn't bother me. The 3s looks better beat up anyway, not why everyone is worried about minor things you can't see when they're on your feet.

Who cares why other people see on "my" feet or anybody else feet. It's the fact that these are $220 for premium materials and workmanship. Shaqs from Walmart match the quality. While most are hyped to have this OG, the folks with a unconnected brain that has the ability to think for themselves notice the waste. So before you throw being broke in my face, I made over $80k after taxes this year already and this purchase was truly a waste.

People can't be upset about a pair of messed up $220 shoes that they received in the mail?

I have very few black shoes in my rotation. I just didn't see myself wearing then that much

Okay I guess I was asking if the return was quality related as I was pleased with my flu games and hadn't heard much complaints about quality control
lol what? the glu games weren't that good at all

What am I supposed to see here

I didn't know McDonalds paid so well

@TheRealPoblack  thank you.

Just to give perspective...I actually pulled out my 03 cements and wanted to see if there is any merit to the EP nonsense being absurdly big on this pair. I measured the EP on each shoe and the EP is only a half centimeter higher

I was thinking that too

Went by Champs to check about holiday employment and held these in hand today, the leather feels smooth but hard to me. Must have to break them in; no surprise but almost a Full Size Run.

Went to my local mall today (Fox Hills Mall) FNL, FTL, CHAMPS and FOOTACTION all had the TB3's still on display. I can see why people would complain about them. The pairs on display at Champs and FNL had some cracking already!
