Nice pickup....flawless true blues...people are sleeping on this one

Just got my true blues in from nike. Either your all tripping or I some how got lucky but the quality on mine are definitely not as bad as everyone is saying.

I really did get lucky though that my pair is pretty much flawless. I have been getting some seriously flawed jays throughout the year.

Overall extremely happy with the purchase. Hoping my SNS pair is just as good.

lol inflation has nothing to do with it when zoom gloves and penny 2 are around 150 retail. JB charging 220 cause they know they can. Blows my mind people doing their best to defend a corp who everyone agree overcharges the consumers.

Seems people think the ones complaining are diminishing their pairs or something. If you like them, rock them. Who cares if other people think it's low quality and cost too much.

Yea im sure the sweatshops in the 80's put out flawed products, you honestly think it's a new problem, and inflation had already be covered, 220 now equates to what these cost in the 80's

Actually it doesn't and I know what some looked like in the 80s... I was there. Production numbers are a lot higher and the production cost per pair is a whole lot lower now than it was back then. So that crap about inflation is BS. Shaq Attacks I got in 92 was 120, last year again 120. Inflation only means the $ buying power. Not what something should cost now.

But anyway, I pieced together a good set so I can keep a pair, Nike giving me a gift card might have helped a little too [emoji]128527[/emoji]

Could have dug the 88s out for a family shot but they too far back.

I think the bottom line for all the complaints about this shoes is this:

You can't please everyone, PERIOD. No matter the release, there will be complaints on quality and materials used. I get that these cost $220 ($240 including tax) which is a pretty hefty price tag. I do agree that these shoes has a lot of flaws, shoot my first pair was returned because it had an uneven elephant print but I was lucky enough to exchange for a much better pair. Jordan brand quality for the most part we all know released crappy/flawed retros, paint chipping, uneven stitching, glue stains and not always quality on leather BUTTTTT, as much as everyone complains, we all, if not most, still buy them whether it's an anticipated colorway or the nostalgia behind it. Plain and simple, no matter the price tag Nike puts out, people will still buy but don't choose to buy the shoes and continue complaining of what it is and what it isn't. If your not happy, return them and get your money back and on to the next. Simple.
