OG Nike Air Jordan III Retro True Blue BLACK FRIDAY '16

Ill start with a negative post about the 3s, then follow with a positive post.....

First, they ended up arriving today after UPS changed the delivery time twice and finally said they would arrive tomorrow. Pleasant surprise, but come on UPS. Get your ish together.

Second, the left shoe is perfect. Great quality on both these shoes. Love them in every way. But, my left shoe is slightly jacked up. EP is faint in spots and the heel tab is slightly crooked. I got them for 202 shipped and will most likely live with them the way they are. I really want to rock them. But, all other Js I bought this year have been perfect. Guess I was bound to get a defect eventually. Oh well.
 
These TB3s end up being the best of the remastered era after breaking them in. The toebox will not crease in a weird way as to crush my big toe like WC4. The shoe is not as stiff overall as the BM5. Super comfy.

People who complain probably never had a pair of Goodyear welt Docs or Italian blake stitched dress shoes, now those are really stiff as cardboard when new.
 
As far as inflation goes, these are in no way $220 because of it when other Nike shoes are not affected. Don't be so gotdamn gullible
 
You guys are getting funny with this inflation talk. Who cares. I paid 250 for the coppers and 200+ for many other releases. It was by choice and I dont care about the price. Eventually they will be 300, 400 etc...and we will still buy them. Nike will get richer, and quality will remain the same. Is what it is to me. Really not worth arguing over. And please dont turn the thread into an economics class lol

HIGHLY disappointed in my SNKRS pair...

1. That blue dye and scratch on the pleather. SMH

2. super long think piece on thread sticking out the elephant print, also that chopped piece of elephant print is sloppy as hell


3. WORST OF ALL that elephant printon the toe boxes! One is light and the other is way darker and thicker!

Nike gave me a jank pair. Let's hope my FTL pair is better

You can solve #1 and #2.

1. take a Q-tip and dip lightly into alcohol. Gently dab the Q-tip onto the blue dye until it is removed. Once it's gone, take the other end of the Q-tip and dip into hot water. Gently dab the Q-tip that was dipped in hot water onto the area to clean it.

2. Cut the piece of thread
 
Nike ship junk cause they can and they charge what ever they want because they know the average consumers are sheep. Look through the reviews of this shoe on Nike.con and see how many people actually say the quality is trash but they wanted them so bad so they are keeping them. It's sad because one day, cunsomers actually had power over these companies to produce a quality product. Now it's just full of hypebeast paying unreasonable amounts of money for subpar products.

So before you say inflation again...I bought my daughter a Minnie Mouse purse, 100% leather for $35 at the disney store in Chicago. No synthetic. Actual leather. Y'all can keep falling for Nike BS

The only inflation is JB's profit. There's only two answers 1. Buy it and 2. Don't buy it . Nothing more and nothing less. Almost all material item we purchased these days are not worth their price. [emoji]128526[/emoji]

LOL, never thought I see an argument over inflation and market price in a sneaker forum but these are the times.

All of it has a part to with rising prices, though.

A lot of it has to do with the resell game as well, so if you would like prices to stop rising... Stop buying resell.

It's not passive, if you're not happy with your purchase RETURN. THE. SHOE.

Coming in here and arguing about the price and quality makes no sense if you're going to keep the shoe.

That's the basic point of what people are saying. No one is forcing you to keep those shoes that you don't like that you paid $220 for.
