Jordan has done some questionable things, Ill admit. But, there is still no one who can be called as good of a basketball player as he was. And, Ill leave it at that

I dont disagree. But I remember a year or so ago when Nike said they were going to kill the resell game. And they sure did by releasing SOOOOO many of these and then the space jams. I like it tho. Reminds me of the good ol days when buying shoes was easy

You're a fool then. These are straight up bootleg. I wouldn't even buy these for 100 bucks out the door. Well, if they were limited I would bcuz I'd sell them to some fool for a great profit. The returns on these are justified. JB can put out good retros(last Metallic 5 release)but this one is far from it. FAR.
 
I buy my fair share of Jordans but I keep saying that Boost Tech and Primeknit is a big part of why Adidas is gaining traction. Yeezys, Ultra Boosts, and NMDs are comfortable in a way Nike just can't replicate. Boost/Primeknit gets most of my money now.

The quality of materials is what I want from a Jordan. The quality control was defiantly bad for this release. But, it seems like there were more of these produced that the others. Meaning, there would be more mistakes with more quantity

Yep.

I'm a Nike/Jordan guy but I'm glad the Adidas thing is happening. Nike/JB were getting too cocky with everything. I'm glad I see a lot go on sale now.

kanye is a whatever youwanna call it to this generation, and it dont mean they gotta buy his kicks.....but folks did/do as well.

Nike mastered the art of idolizing folks for footwear sales and adidas is taking their turn

Jordan is a forever Icon that spans across generations, classes, races etc. Everyone knows who Jordan is. My dad would have no idea who Yeezy is. Doesnt even like sports, but would know exactly who Jordan is. Hes 71

Well, when the shoe IS limited, we don't have the opportunity to actually examine the shoe before we buy it and therefore can't complain.

I don't think the True Blues were ever that sought after.  These would fly off shelves if these were White Cement or Black Cement, and I would have copped either for $220 despite the flaws.  If Space Jams sit like these are, then game on!

You ever wonder if future generations will forget who Michael Jordan is, and the name will just become a sneaker to many?  How many people actually know who Chuck Taylor, Stan Smith or Rod Laver are?  I fear that sneaker heads have already forgotten what actual OG colorways are.

I highly recommend everyone try some caged Ultra Boosts. The sizing can be wonky depending on foot shape (I go up .5 for example) but once you find your size, your feet will never feel the same again. Legit amazing.

Agreed. I'm glad Adidas is pulling some interest away from Nike. UBs and NMDs are flying off of shelves and the competition is good for us. 

Adidas has a long way to go but right now they are at the front and center of the stage.

he'll be relevant as long as folks keep stating how great he was.....for example i havent bought some j's since i was in college (10+ years ago)and my daughter asked me a couple years back for some jordans and she was 7....now what does she care about michael jordan besides the "popular" folks put them on a pedestal....jordan himself is not cool to these new kids, the idea of having the jordans the internet said was cool is what drives alot of these sales....my kid couldnt point the man out in a lineup but was asking for a pair...needless to say she aint get a pair....she learned to think for herself since then...lol

What makes you think the TBs weren't sought after?

They may very well be the best colorway of the 3. If not #1, #2 for sure.

Lol, I forcefed my son Js when he was younger. Now hes in high school and refuses to wear them haha
