OG Nike Air Jordan III Retro True Blue BLACK FRIDAY '16

I really feel like I got the wrong size, since these run smaller than the last retro. Now I have 3 pairs .5 size too small...

Yeah, I'm against modifying that shoe, not that serious for me.

I'll just go with what Nike what the shoe to be.

I'm still debating if I want to keep my extra pair or try and sell it since I got a pair off Swoosh.

Probably couldn't be too hard to still find the right size for you and do exchanges? I agree though with the sizing, my 8.5 TB3s feel tighter than my size 8 WC4s and other 3's I've tried on.

I remme
I don't think the complaints seen in most of these posts are about the TB3's as much as it is about the frustrations certain consumers have had with prior retro releases in general. People are fed up and they're just venting from what I see.

I don't think Nike gives consumers sub par quality as a whole. A lot of their newer models, whether it be for running, basketball, training, etc, are well crafted with very decent tech and materials.

It's just purchasing retros these days are hit or miss and Nike knows that for the most part. They don't have to invest a lot into the craftsmanship because the history and nostalgia of the shoe will sell itself. Honestly, they are more concerned with dumping resources into their newer flagship models. The XXXI's are about as well put together of a sneaker you'll find this year.

The Jordan Retro has become Nike's version of the Ford Focus if you will in being somewhat comparable to a take down model. They are produced in high volume, sell well with very little overhead needed and bring in a nice profit margin for pumping resources into newer technology.

Someone should do a social experiment on here. Make up a flaw on a release and see if other people "see" it too. The power of suggestion!

I really don't think all those people returning pairs at the outlets were due to quality. They probably didn't think they could flip it for more $.
the social experiment should go like this,"for the true blues" two pairs of the same shoe one pair goes for 190.00 the other pair 220. THe 220.00 pair are the clean pairs elephant print matching, no chewed off cement print,no glue stains, midsole is perfect. The other pair for 190 has factory flaws that are acceptable to the average consumer. Now none of the customers know why there is a price adjustment and the manager nor the sales assosiates can inform the customers.

I feel the same way. that toebox is too narrow. I wonder how space jams are going to fit. I went size 10 just in case but I normally buy my Js in a 9.5

You want perfection when you are paying over $235 for an item....no matter what it is. I felt no shame checking and returning pairs to various retailers before I found a decent pair. This shoe is a grail...the playoff 9s aren't but they outsold the TB3. Why??? Because the 9s have much better quality.
