So based on these ongoing quality complaints....it's safe to assume that if this shoe reailed at $190...no one would complain about the quality since it's not $220

Id rather them make the shoe look like what its supposed to than them lower the p4ice back down

Look at how many people are satisfied with the recent Space Jam's? Why can't JB get back to making the 3 like it used to look too? They can, they are just being cheap and lazy. I wouldn't take these 2016 True Blue's for free...and I'm serious. I'd rather double up on Space Jam's for the $220.

They used way better leather on the Cyber 3s too. That's a better buy.

I tried these on. I really liked the way they looked and they were pretty comfy, and even fit my wide feet better than the Cyber Monday for some reason. But the elephant cut on the backs were too different heights, there was a mild cut on the side of the one of the prints, and 1 of the bottom Nikes had a permanent black mark.

There's always gonna be odd things here and there with all shoes but the fact that I may have to go hunting with multiple purchases to find a decent pair is putting me off. That and the plan to buy a Cyber Monday soon. If these were discounted I may look past the issues. The leather quality wasn't too bad actually but the Cyber Mondays really do have better leather in comparison.

Dudes sad over the most minimal of issues need to get over it.

I can understand SOME of the complaints, and that happens with any production run of shoes.

But paint strokes?

Tiny tiny issues?

No, you're complaining because it's the trend towards this shoe.

If you can't be sastified with the shoe over something that minimal A. You clearly shouldn't have spent $200+ B. You never really wanted the shoes.

Go return them and give the money back to your parents.

All fact and so obvious within this thread :smh:

The biggest thing that ruins new versions of III's (after 2001) is the thickness of the elephant print, on ALL pairs. The one in the pic above is just absurd, but the old and thin elephant print was just beautiful.

Makes a HUGE difference.

cosign. the thick elephant print lines on the newer retros makes them look fake. which is funny because the thin lines resembling elephant skin is why it originally got its name. the thick lines are just the opposite

On release day the SZ12 the fnl ee gave had thumb print or something on the midsole. I asked him to grab another and he tried to snap on me. Every other store that I purchased from in the past had no problem switching the shoe. After a little more complaining I decided to look at the box and some other dudes name was on it so then I told him that and he said oh it was my mistake . The pair that actually had my name on it was perfect so I paid and left.

Anybody actually wearing these? :nerd: How's the break in?

I gave them a wear for the first time yesterday and they gave my pink toes hell. They fit nicely when I slipped them on but trying them on for a short period of time and wearing them all day is two different things.

Going to wear these in short burst from time to time in hopes that these give a little.

So does footaction allow you to return jordans now? i thought before they didnt? I chatted with a rep and they said i could return my pair .. i actually bought a pair for a friend and they still havent given my the money so back they go

3-4 wears for me. I had similar pinky toe issues ala AT3 mdicine balls, its now gone away.

I wore them walking around the city at a pretty brisk pace for a good mile or 2 and these wound up killing my feet.

I've worn a size 10 for every iteration of the 3 since 2001 and I've never had this problem before.

I'm hoping that this evnetually goes away like you mentioned.

Yup I half-sized up on my pair as soon as I tried them on. Ankle padding is thick like the BM5's so I knew I had to get a bigger size.

Got mine on today and I'm lovin'em
Feel good, look good and perfect creasing
Definitely worth doubling up if they hit $119

Just sent my 2nd pair back to Nike because of craft issues. Should I just say forget and get my money back or wish that the 3rd time would be the charm? I really want these but it's frustrating getting b grade pairs.

It's a mass produced item. You should change hobbies, switch brands, or drop the OCD.
