Don't nobody give af about no 867-5309.

And who tf does FNL think they are only doing raffles on Tues only? I'm not going back to either one of those stores everybody else did raffles today and tomorrow. Y'all ****** aren't special y'all haven't even gotten a release since the damn WC4s

Only thing that could've made these even nice would be having the Jumpman/Jam on the tongue like the 2000 pair.  Other than that, I'm looking forward to Saturday for these

The entire 2008-09 CDP collection was a big Nike ploy to gouge $$ from consumers during a time when the economy was in a recession and Nike was cutting costs by using the cheapest materials while cutting down on labor costs which helps to explain why every single CDP pair was among the poorest ever in overall quality.

I'd also like to add, it was basically a market guinea pig experiment to gauge consumer economic tolerance for cost of spending. Two findings were concluded from this:

1. Consumers will buy sneaker packs
2. Consumers are willing to pay a "premium" price for sneakers, thus justifying price increase.

I'm probably much older (29) than the average user in this thread. There was a time from 04-10' where I would purchase any OG retro release at the time. But after the noticeable compromise in quality, I've resisted any purchase. It wasn't until very recently (15') where I started to buy Jordan's again. Quality still isn't what I used to be, but it's much better than before.

FootAction Lakewood, CA is FCFS.

So Footlocker INC. Sends out a memo no discount what so ever on these such as military or coupon. Thats a joke They are really feeling themselves thinking that kids will sell out at $170 with no discount.

You are incorrect Sir. They are NOT A "QS" in the system. You have been given some bogus info.

So currently my only plan is to give it a go on SNKRS. Is it unreasonable to think that might be enough ?
It's as good as having multiple options.  I've seen people with a fi****l of tickets and get squat, and someone enter one spot and get broke off proper, so you should be good fam, just be ready for Saturday, and you're good man

I just left two stores my dude, you are welcome to call them and ask. Im leaving a store now and they just said the same. Have you asked just curious and heard different, if so let me know where and I can tell them.

There was no such memo. They are pulling your chain. As stated, the system has these listed as a regular release. All QS releases are tagged as QS "exempt" in the system, these do not fall in that category. Trust me!

The irony in all of this was that despite the compromise in quality due to economic factors, the resell game peaked during the "recession" ('08-'13) and people still continued to purchase low-quality retros for upwards of $260-400 in the resell market depending on the shoe (Flint 13s, 2011 3s, Varsity Red 6s, Playoff 13s, CDPs, Carmine 6s, among others).

Not until 2015 imo did Nike/JB really make a conscious effort to step up their game in terms of quality although there is still a lot left to be desired (i.e., 2016 True Blue 3s). But hey, at least midsole paint is no longer chipping and cracking.

Im gonna take a picture of the email and post it on here later. Do you work there and can you confirm? Please let me know. Im telling you, these stores wouldn't lie to me;

I think your subconscious has known all along that you're copping.

There isn't even a question imo, these are essential to any OG collection.
Yea I know just been an expensive month, doubled up on black toes and breds then I copped some OG shattered backboard, then you got yeezys that are supposedly plentyful. Yea Im trying to find an excuse not to cop lmao.

You guys think this will be an easy cop on SNKRS if we're ready to go at 10:00 on the dot? I'm hoping so because I have to work all day on Saturday

I feel you on that one...I've spent so much on shoes in the last 3 months alone it's not even funny anymore. Fortunately, my wife and I have agreed on a quarterly budget for shoes not just for me but for the entire family.

But if you ask me, if it came down to choosing between a pair of Yeezys or OG Space Jams....you already know the answer
