Air Jordan 11 Space Jam-December 10, 2016-$220

Never by UPS, always by USPS

That's why I have My Choice though. For certain items I pick them up at a UPS location. I go there, so often they know me by name and always know where my packages are. I'll stop by tomorrow and get my two from FNL.
This is how it's done.  My local UPS store knows me by name, and she always has my packages ready and waiting for me when I walk in no matter who else is in the store.   We've become friends.  As a matter of fact, I dropped off her Christmas present yesterday when I went to pick up my Nike+ reserved Jams. A little love goes a long way in this world...

That's how much people are asking you to buy their pairs for. Nike/JB has nothing to do with how much people are willing to pay for a shoe from someone.
But, I don't get the point. I know Nike/JB has nothing to do with it but, the reason that they (and the True blues) are at 220 is to combat resellers. I just don't understand why people are selling these for 300 when the return isn't worth it.
if you count the seller fees shipping and pp fee its def a labor of love selling for 300. 30 profit ...

Not that I am trying to justify resellers, but $80 "profit" on $220 is a 36% ROI.  There aren't many "investments" in the world that return 30%.   And this is for a "low resell" shoe.  Yeezys selling for $600 that cost $220....

With the roomier toe box, creases are inevitable.

Sizing half size down would probably help.

minus shipping costs. Is that worth selling them for?

Money is money $60-80 profit. Helps lesson the cost of your personal pair. Maybe the seller is getting credit card points factor that in as well.

Nike raising the price doesn't combat resellers. All it does is put more moeny in nikes pocket.

A little history I have with this shoe.

Back in 2006 or so, my wife lost her job as a finance manager for BMW. This is the time when the market crashed. I decided to sell off some shoes to make ends meet.

One pair was 2001 DS Pair of Space Jams and sold them for $600. She promised to buy me a pair if they ever release again but in my mind, I didnt care about the shoes. I cared more about our financial situation.

Never did it cross my mind to ever try to collect from her. It was just something that needed to be done for our family so I did it without hesitation.

Over the weekend she was able to scoop a pair without me knowing. She hit me with the surprise yesterday and they come in tomorrow.

Im shocked.
dope a$s story sir

I agree with this. Just think that the $60 is paying for somebody else's time. And besides, in your case, you'd still provably spend $240 on retail + shipping.
except feebay took that profit, after all said and done homeboy only made 8 bucks profit.... but he got a customer for life

I've never heard of people justifying bball players being able to make every shot, but being paid to purposely miss them

yo....i had my jams from ndc forwarded to an access point....but i check status last nigt and it says "The receiver does not want the product and refused the delivery.". da hell? theyre an access point, how the hell they refusing packages?!
They could be full on packages.
i just went to the access point to inquire. theyre def not full, spacewise. but the guy told me he only accepts the first 15 packages the UPS guy gives him. all the rest he refuses. he says he just doesnt want to take more than 15 cause its not worth it cause they only pay him 50 cents a package. im like wow wtf, in my head.

why be an access point if theyre not gonna accept packages they have room for? if they dont think its worth it for only 50 cents a package then just dont do it at all. instead theyre half-arsing it.

its been refused yesterday. and now today. thats twice. if they refuse tomorrow a 3rd time, does my jams get sent back to NDC?

djaward djaward is your girl into sneakers as well?...congrats to y'all both though & on getting your new pair
I dont consider her a sneaker head. She likes some shoes because of the color and not because of the rarity.

Her favorite pair are the Fire Red 5 (silver tongues). She has a couple of 5s and 4s, thats it.

Exactly this. Definitely some ulterior motives when I resell. Not even concerned about turning a profit half the time. Straight retail + ship deals with NTers = credit card bonuses and cash back on multiple sites. All for slapping a shipping label on a box.

djaward djaward oh OK just was asking because she seems to have had better luck getting your pair than most people I see in this thread...I know you was giving them hints prior to release like leaving notes on fridge & on car dashboard lol

Call ups and have it held at the hub that's where your package is probably at.

yea im gonna have to do that it looks like. i always try to avoid doing that because their warehouse is very far out of my way and i work all day. access point is way more convenient. looks like i will also have to change to a different preferred access point on mychoice. my current one is tripping.

Just picked up my 2 pairs I told them to be held from the UPS Store, the Kickz pair's box is wrecked but not a big deal since i'm not a reseller. Looking at these gives me serious nostalgia.
