Air Jordan 11 Space Jam-December 10, 2016-$220

I actually hate ordering shoes online and would prefer driving and picking up a pair. Hell that's how I am with everything. Extremely impatient when it comes to ordering stuff online, id be paranoid checking every couple minutes like you guys do here lol.
Embrace the future. Trust me, you'll learn to love it lol

Im doing well. Not that well though. If I wanted to save $5, Id just forgo a coffee one time when I'm out. If I can buy $500 flight on a whim and purchase $60 bottles of wine, then whats $5 to me? yes it all adds up, but Its all relative. Totally a personal opinion.

if you guys selling space jams for profit you got the wrong item. go fetch you some yeezys and nintendo classics

Yeah, mine just came in from SNKRS.
My first 11s ever. I remember the 95 playoffs but never, ever saw them anywhere, never had a chance to buy them. It only took 20 years!

So why come you never know what a shoe is selling for... but to keep it 100 how many people get 20 pairs? don't backdoor/connect pairs cost more than retail?

I have to be VERY careful with what I say. I have to tip toe around this topic because I just got in trouble for reselling in the threads

. No ones fault but my own...

First and foremost, it should be noted that I make $90,000 a year on average. On a bad year with no over time at work, I'll make about $65K-$70K.

With that being said, a lot of people are clueless as to what they're talking about when it comes to reselling. I don't actually have to resell, I resell because I don't like paying full price for shoes. I'm spoiled.

People look at a $60 profit as a bad thing. How about this:

$300 (resell price of SpaceJams) - $237.60 (retail price of SpaceJams with .08% tax) = $62.40 profit.

Let's say someone NOT named AirForce1King bought 22 pairs and sold at least 19 of them for a $62.40 profit. $62.40 X 19 = $1,185.60 profit.

Let's say they deplete their stock in 5 days. For the sake of math, let say those 5 days equates to a 40 hour work week. $1185.60 divided by 40 = $29.64 per hour.

How many of you guys make $29.64 an hour?

Let's say that same person NOT named AirForce1King kept a size 12 SpaceJam for himself so $1185.60 - $237.60 becomes $948. Let's say that same guy decides to get Grey Suede 11's ($432), DB7's ($205), and Kentucky Blue 1's ($172.80) from that $948. He'd still have $138.20 left over. So technically, that's 4 pairs of shoes for free (including SpaceJams).

See, you guys have conversations amongst yourselves instead of getting the opinion of an actual reseller. From Jordan 4 Alternate 89's to now, I've copped about 50 pairs of shoes this year with 3 more to go before the end of the year. Out of pocket I only paid for about 5 pairs of shoes total. Let's suppose every pair of shoes I bought was $200 (which is completely false because I have all 4 pairs of Pinnacle 4's which were $432 each, DB4's which were $600, DB 13's which were $500, and so on and so on). I purchased a MINIMUM of $10,000 in shoes this year. Out of pocket I paid MAYBE $1000 and I'll tell you what, I hate it lol. I was soooooooo mad I had to buy True Blue 3's man. I absolutely HATE buying shoes with my own money lol.
Best breakdown I've read about the resell situation. Some will understand, some won't.

i make way more than 30 bucks an hour

reselling especially selling in bulk is not something worth my time

I don't know your situation, but if I'm a single dude (not saying you are) and banking 90k. I'm not going to trip about paying for my shoes lol.

If it works for you though, why not.

My exact sentiment. I applaud the entrepreneurship of the resellers and the breakdown above is great. The balance sheet makes total sense. I just don't care enough. Single guy with no kids: buy what I want, when I want.

I don't resell because it's annoying. Making $30 on a shoe is fine if doesn't require a bunch of effort, nothing to sneeze at for a small initial outlay of cash.

I'm in that category of about $29.64 an hour but here's where your numbers are skewed.

That $62.40 "profit" is an unrealistic number simply because the shoe you're selling doesn't cost you $237.50.

You're going to tell me that of those 19 pairs there was no other work involved in getting that $300? lets say you got a bot and it's been paid for cool, attaining them is no cost. so you what have 19 people drive to your home / job to buy the shoes? That $62.40 is an imaginary an incomplete profit number becasue as stated based on your method of selling you need to factor in the costs.

yes if you're putting that $62.40 per shoe into a piggy bank or separate account that you don't touch, your "profit" will be that inflated amount. But if you're using your own money to pay fees and shipping cost not to mention gas and/time then you're not really making as much as you're thinking.

Unless you're walking out of Footlocker or nike and people are handing you $300 on the spot, your profit at that price point is way, way less.

Do you. I don't do as much reselling as you but sometimes I will buy multiple pairs to pay for my pairs.

It is what it is. Nobody on NT pays my bills so I could care less what they think....

See, you missed the point of those posts. This is precisely what I just got in trouble for. What you read is "AirForce1King always comes into a thread asking what the going price of a shoe is. He's clueless." What others read is "AirForce1King has the shoes available? Let me DM him." I ALWAYS know what going rate of a shoe is. Every time you saw me write that in a thread, I was simply advertising what I had for sell. C'mon, do them posts even make sense? "Hey guys? What's the current going rate of a size XX, XX, and XX Jordan XXXXXX? I'm trying to price mine accordingly." DON'T DO THIS!!! As a NT Vet I knew better and I set a horrible example for newer members. I learned my lesson and it won't happen again.

And who said I backdoored anything?

Agree.  That isn't the full cost of doing business.  You are paying for shipping / delivering which cuts into the $62.40, unless you have a unique situation where people are coming to you to buy.

ok sorry for getting off track we all see things differently. In the end it's about the shoes.

Any more restocks?

I know why you post it, it was joke, bruh (rolling emoji) I asked about backdoors because you've posted your connect/backdoor prices in the past and figured since you posted you wouldn't mind discussing it..
