Air Jordan 11 Space Jam-December 10, 2016-$220

Fairly certain that a 23 on one shoe and a 45 on the other wouldn't shut anyone up. If anything I think more people would complain about that than the 45 by itself. Seems like putting "Nike Air" on the back of a Jordan 5 and the Jumpman on the back of the other.

11 hype died after 2014.

Legend Blues were one of the hardest releases I ever went through. I entered 46 raffles between me and my wife and my lucky *** got one call at Nordstrom. A lot of people in the thread struck out. Flash forward to June 2015 when people realize that JB flooded the market and people were selling for retail or close just to break even. Almost every body who wanted a pair of Legend Blues eventually got them.
Flash forward to December 2015. I entered just as many raffles for 72-10s but instead of with my wife last year, I went just by myself so that cut my chances in half. Monday - Friday before release, my phone blew up. Out of the 23 raffles I entered, I won 10 of them.
Almost every time I go to the mall, I find at least one person rocking a pair of 11s, either Breds, Legend Blues, or 72-10s.

As long as JB continues to flood the market with 11s (which I hope they do), 11 hype will remain dead.

That's not hype going down, that's exclusivity you're talking about. They sold an incredible amount of pairs for $220. If seeing so many people with the same shoe on bothers you, just keep them on ice and wear an older release or cop something more unique. Although with icy soles you should at least enjoy them several times while they're still icy. I have to admit I'm not a fan of seeing every other person at the mall rocking the same release too trying to be cool. It is what it is and I'm no one to tell others what to rock. This is not new though. It's been this way for at least a decade. A fresh shoe is still a fresh shoe no matter if everyone has it. Every year you will see less and less people with a certain release.

Exactly. Lots of shoes were passed on in the last two years because they've been bad colorways that not many people wanted. So far the majority of releases since the 72-10s have done really well. Some releases have looked like straight up variants that were so common years ago.

Concords and Space Jams are a whole different animal compared to LB,Breds,72,etc.Most people only care for those 2 when it comes to 11,s.Other than SJ and Concords,im not interested in any other 11,s.Most people think like that as well. Its like that with other models as well with most people. You think remastered Bred 1 or Royal 1 or Chi 1 (out now) will sit on shelves after the first day like the metallics (OG CW) are. This is not about if Jordan Hype has died down since 2014 all together.Certain models (Colorways) will not sit no matter how much the hype for Jordans have died down.Even with 3,s.Most only care about White Cement,White Blue,Black Cement (Grey). After that, most could care less about other Colorways.Unless if your just a collector, and cop every Jordan release coming out.The Jordan hype has nothing to do with certain models flying off the shelves in minutes.Certain models don't need the hype to sell out real fast. The majority on here are going for multiples of SJ.Lets be real about it.

Would agree with much of what you said. The thing most on this board doesn't understand is the 'sneakerhead' is the minority. The opinions on these boards aren't shared by the masses and don't move the sneaker industry.

If you want an exclusive pair of 11s to wear, you better find some silver anniversary pairs or the pantone pair. Even the cool grey pair isn't a rare sight were I'm at. And for the record, everyone had the space jams back in 09 too. You can't seriously expect jb to care more about your ego and need to stunt on others with something "exclusive" than increasing their profits and making themselves richer.

If you're that worried about wearing the same shoes as everyone else, you need a bigger/more diverse collection, or you need to leave the JB Retro game alone.

For those wanting something no one else has you're best bet is to grab a sneaker you like and have it customized. Plenty of great people out there doing it.

Trust me, i've been looking for the longest time. It's just hard when your limit on shoes is $250 and you'd like them to be in a certain condition.

im not a fan of seeing everyone wearing the most recent release at the mall the day of release either...honestly i think its corny.."yea just got em" with the matching corny nike/jordan matching shirt that released in coordination with the shoe..even if it is a nice shoe..for some reason i cant stand it..i buy my pairs and sit on em for a lil..

aint finding a ds pair for that price. Hopefully they get remastered

I would think that the exclusivity thing was designated to just the OG hi 1s now. But Im also hoping to snag a pair of Breds without too much of an issue since I live in southern Oregon now and Nike doesn't show us any love for some reason.

the patent is high af loll. I'm so used to the low patent, these look fugazi lol.

I'd prefer 23 on them though. But I'm in either way.

Crazy how y'all had all them arguments about these being the "45 PE Black Concord" or whatever and that they shouldn't be referred to as "Space Jams" when JB themselves are even marketing these as SJs. As they were going to do the whole time. Idk, anything to attempt to win argument and "sound" smarter than the next man I guess. This is directed to whomever it may concern. Y'all know who y'all are lol.
flu games

yeah a regular box with the inside deorated would be nice, tired of pull out boxes and gimmicky crap so JB can justify price hikes. The shoes look good but thats all subjective as we havent seen real shoes yet so yet we still wait!
