Air Jordan 11 Space Jam-December 10, 2016-$220

Blame the mods

Both SDS and air randy were on the legit seller list

After the whole fake shoe thing they were removed

But to say I was behind it is dumb. People "legit" checked em and called em legit. I was as dumb as anyone else who thought they were legit but doesn't help they were on legit seller list and people were calling em legit at first too.

We all learn from our mistakes and we figured out about these super fakes and made it known

So, how did people eventually figure out SDS and Air Randy were peddling fakes

folks started asking questions when air randy had floors jam packed with concords and Nike did a last minute switcheroo with da toe going from clear to milky

all of randy's pairs for months after maintained da clear toe...

that's when da grey market unauthorized authentics knowledge became mainstream.

before that you had to be old enough to remember da OG ewings 3rd shift fiasco in da 90's...

2009 jams and cool greys seen a few restocks, and people were still goin nuts over them

i just said forget it when it came time for the concords to drop and sold my soul for my pair

I remember that infamous pic of the floor covered concords, not to mention the clear trash bags of concords... I forgot about the milky toe vs clear toe

All Christmas 11's have been easy, and you'll be able to cop off snkrs with ease

that just started happening from da Columbias on...concords, cool greys, 2009 space jams, 2012 black & reds, da last 2008 CDP were all a pain in da *** to cop.

Actually from 2012 and on they have been extremely easy that's the year they started making 500,000 pairs before that year they were somewhat tough, but that year and after all 11's have been abundant and have multiple restocks

da 2012 black & reds showed cracks of being easy (not 72-10 easy, or even Columbia easy) because people were already sitting on DS CDP pairs, and they did up da production pairs a touch...

another factor is by da time 2012 came GM's/UA's became WIDELY known to da masses so u had folks coppin and not giving AF so it depressed demand & resell.

or the concords with 45 on the back, which we'll probably see next year

And over priced

I have too much paranoia when i buy a non-retailer pair. i bought a retail pair of banned 1 and then a co worker was selling another 1 to double up. after getting it, i asked her for my money back cuz the shoe tree, stitching, and color was off. it might have just been a flawed pair of authentic but it was enough to get me paranoid every time i saw the box at home so i had to get rid of them
Wow not even trusting of a co-worker. If so many obvious things were off then you made the right decision. Did you get pics or an L/C?

Ppl started getting their Concords in, then the questions started swirling about fakes. Some how ppl (like me) dug up our SJ Air Randy copy cats and noticed that, when you remove the insole. Their was a hole in the sole of the SJs as it was in the Copy cat concords... Then the carbon fiber factor came into play, in the concords the CF plate was flexible, Then the @NoobLee factor, he came in the thread and put every early seller on blast.. Even Ming from marqueesole came in to defend himself, if i remember correctly Randy started selling his pairs to early.. So he broke the agreement of thieves...  But after nooblee came in it all made sense Thats the readers digest version
What exactly did @NoobLee  say and how was he more credible than the gang of thieves? I totally believe you btw, just wanted to get some context of time and what the GM/rep game was like back then. I guess the gang of thieves just became the early 'leakers' SWISH SUPPLY Marqueesole etc. I always wondered if they are known fake sellers how come their pairs look so much better than the reps I see on ebay, reddit etc. I guess they deal in the GM/Unauthorized market as opposed to replicas. I never quite understood the difference and thought it was just a marketing ploy by fake sellers to tout their GMs as one step above replicas.

What did people learn about unauthorized authentics? Are they just factory rejects?

palma palma you should just go to the archive thread, search for the concord thread. And it will lead you to the answers to your questions. No reason to derail this thread

What? no of course UA authentics aren't rejects wtf? :smh:
people started using UA cuz of them being high quality fakes and people that sold them would say they were authentic just not made under authorization of Nike in their factories. which is all bull if you aren't gullible and don't believe in snake oil being magic.
I might have only been in this for 2 and a half years but when I stuck in the L/C forum I started noticing patterns.
If they WERE from Nike factories why aren't the materials the same or even of the same quality? WHY are all the imperfections ALWAYS the same? like stretch 23s,nike factories would have the proper stamp, so you're tellin me they just make their own in Nike factories and use theirs? no, that's ****** stupid to think that.

these people OBVIOUSLY have their own factories. and of course I was right

That ain't no damn Nike factory. far from it. there's plenty other pictures and videos of these places too

here's a lil vid

there's also a video on YouTube about a whole damn town in China dedicated to fake factories.
people want to believe what's too good to be true because in reality they can't always get what they want. that... or they're just dumb or ignorant.

The term "Unauthorized Authentics" doesn't exist it's an oxymoron, you either got a legit pair from retail or you got a shady pair with better quality than other replica shoes that's it. The UA term is just something sellers say so they can make dumb people who believe anything to buy their goods with ease of mind. If you're buying "Unauthorized Authentic" shoes please don't ever sell shoes anywhere. I can't believe it's 2016 and people still think UA kicks are factory rejects, get out of 2011 people stop believing that nonsense.

I think that's exactly what started the whole fake scandal is people got certain toes then pictures were popping up with the other toe so people went nuts

its not black and white issue...3rd shift/unauthorized authentic pairs do and have existed on da past.

Sure, but they're not as abundant as these people are saying it is. It's not like MentalKicks somehow has a large selection of unauthorized authentics at their disposal available for a cheap price. Many of the supposed unauthorized authentic pairs are just super fakes. Just like when people buy their pairs months in advance.

People believe chickenwop etc sell authentic product because they want to, no other reason. Most know its a shady business but cape for them anyway. They'll be like air Randy soon enough....

Glad some others understand the hand chickenwop and friends play. The fact that most don't is the reason they are still popular

Is 2muchsol3 the same as well? Dude got supper sensitive when someone comment on the QC of a pair of space jams he posted on his IG trying to sell. To me, that just kind of spells fake.
