 So classic

History / release question- when did the SJs release prior to the 2009s? I remember I was in high school at the time and it was either 2000 or 2001. Anyone have the exact date? It's just been bugging me...
For that year, it was my 12th grade year and forgive my geezerness, but I remember the release dates were:

Concords: October 2000
Space Jams: November/December 2000
Columbia's: January/February 2001
Cool Greys: April/Spring 2001

These are close approximates, feel free to correct

That was a GREAT school year!!
Yes it was! I was a freshman in college when I got my Columbias in 2001. Freshmen on campus couldn't have cars, so I spent the night by my cousin that lived a mile from the mall. That MF wouldn't wake up early to give me a ride to the mall, and it was before the buses started running, so I just walked.

Piss yellow, but I still love em

Are these gonna be as available as the True Blue 3s? Nike would be stupid if they didnt make as many. There are plenty of dudes that'll buy 3 pairs with pride!

Hope RD and post arent filled with complaint debates. Hopefully the QC is better on these than the true blues. But if it's not, PLEASE PASS so folks can eat and resell will be low [emoji]128514[/emoji]

i predict QC will be spotty on these and there will be some discrepencies between pairs just like any most GRs. we buying hype not quality

with that said im still gonna cop many as i can

All I'm nervous about is that leather heel piece. If it's flimsy and synthetic then its a bust and I'm just in for a casual pair. That piece is why the 2000 pair was garbage compared to the 95.

How easy or hard was it getting the 72/10 last year online ?

It's been fairly easy since Legend Blues. I've gotten multiples the last few years all online. It just takes patience. First couple of hours will include typical freeze ups and ATC errors then it will start to free up mid morning with sizes still available until around noon. FNL will be one of the last to sellout due to 3 hours of payment errors. If you go FNL early don't use your main CC because they will lock it up with fraud protection. PayPal is probably the better route. I got 4 pair 72-10s last year, all on mobile....2 pair while coaching a basketball game! I think there will be more traffic this year but most folks should eat.
