these look exactly like the pair wore back in 1995. the blue tinted sole really fits this colorway. and eventually it will turn clear so who cares?

Thank you! We also do not have banana shaped shoes with this cut. The shoe is leaning forward like it should. I love it! Thanks JB for getting something right.
People complaining that the cut is too high
That is how the shoe was designed, and will always look best to me. Dont get me wrong, I like the 2000-2006 Shape, but the 2008 to 2015 shape was horrible. I really would love to have a pair of 72-10s in this OG shape. 1 year too soon.

for me to ask for exact OG specifications is irrational and it'll never happen.But I'm saying give us at least how the shoe SHOULD be. High PL, good shape, nice cushioning, Nike Air, jumpman facing the direction they were originally DESIGNED to face, good quality, and I'll be gravy.
I don't mind changes for the better. Hell, I like the icy blue sole on the new XI's.
And Nike hasn't "conditioned" anyone to like anything.
they're not holding anybody under water until you admit you like low / ripoff patent leather cuts, famb. They never put out ads saying that changing to a lower PL cut was "cool", they just cut corners and not enough people cared enough to force them to upgrade. We could've had this quality and mold since 2007 if we all just stopped buying Jordans when the quality declined.

They still need to do work on raising the collar up. Its too low and thats why people are complaining about the high PL cut. Its a high PL cut sewn onto a 3/4 XI. Either Nike is making a huge mistake or the UA factories don't realize the difference.
Simply put, the last run of fancy box/low PL XIs had more than a low patent leather cut. The ankle collar was cut lower as well. Rasing one without raising the other is pointless.

Why put the 45 on there? That is a big turn off on the for me ill stick to my 09 pair.

This is exactly what I was sayin'... The high PL cut looks off, because the collar is not high/tall enough.

That changes the look of the shoe quite a bit too, making the cut less noticeable at a quick glance.

cut looks off but still better than the super low nonsense. the jumpman really makes a difference I was hating 11's for awhile but these are a step in a better direction. not at 220 though, and never with the 45 would I cop. I knocked the 72-10's, but I wouldn't knock anyone for rocking these.
