Air Jordan 11 Space Jam-December 10, 2016-$220

Yeah pretty much. Not sure which is better for sneakers though.

I used E6000 once on a pair of '05 flint XIIIs. There was sole separation in the front of the right shoe. I didn't do the cleanest job since it was my first time but I had to tie the shoe with rope so that there would be enough pressure for it to dry. It took a while for the glue to dry. Definitely around 12 hrs. I was able to get several more wears out of them.

Barge Infinity Cement is supposedly the "gold standard" but will have to be ordered online.

E-6000 is easily obtained. I've used it several times in the past with varied results. Solid pressure and time are key.

Never ever use super glue. Will ruin material.

So we finally get the proper jumpman placement on both shoes, a higher patent cut, the 45 and a blue tinted sole... And dudes still complain.

You have to love this place. :nthat:

Not surprised. There were non stop complaints over NA WC IVs. Returns even!

Some dudes in here were like the patent is too high. ***** that's how they supposed to be.

Anyone know how to fix this? Little toe seperation from my 2009 pair. Wore it today and I noticed when I took off my shoe.

Don't know if it affects wearability in the future. Just noticed when I got home.
I recommend using Gorilla Glue along with Gorilla tape. I've used those myself, and the finished jobs came out well.

Apply Gorilla Glue onto interior of soles, then apply pressure to make sole and shoe stick, finish the job with Gorilla tape which is quite strong and will hold sole and shoe together until glue is dried and holding everything together.

Let it dry overnight so the affixing job can be completed thoroughly that way.

If anything I think the younger dudes are more put off by the 45 than anything else. Imo it just makes these more special since it is unlikely they will be released like this again, or at least not for more than a decade. I don't know how long this NA, original "remastered" period is going to last. JB might go back to Jumpmans on the 3-6 after this run. If so anyone who passes on these releases will be very sorry they did.

 I just hope these are made in 72-10 numbers. Want to go to the mall and get two pairs without hassle. Last time they were hyped by Weezy in forever. I paid resale since they moved up the RD and I didn't know about it.

The thing with these are, a lot of people seem to think the 09's are what these are supposed to look like. In different comment sections I'll always see "these are horrible. They ruined it with the high patent leather and purple jumpman" I even had a dude try to argue me down about OG'S not having higher PL.

I would assume most people into Jordans today never had OG's, myself included. So when people heard Space Jams are returning, they thought 09's were returning.

That's what I assumed at first until I saw the OG black concords posted a couple of months ago.

That's how it always is with these post 2011 concord release "sneakerheads". Same thing happened when the Infrared 6s dropped, same thing happened with the Bordeaux 7 midsole, and it will continue to happen when retros are made closer to their og form. Annoying but you just learn to ignore it.

has me questioning why they went away from the original design in the first place

I'd say to make the most money out of a model..they can slightly alter the design and people will still jump on them..and then after release another retro of the same colorways but in the original and "remastered" design to give people a reason to cop

yes i think thats true but i feel all of us here at NT know about the remastered approach that nike has taken because we are very in tune with our sneakers and they are a little more important to us than the average joe, but if you ask a normal person entering a raffle or waiting to buy the shoes in line they wouldnt have any idea what remastered is. so does nike rely on us sneaker-sickos to spread the word? its not like it says "remastered" on the box. nike did have a remastered campaign a while back but i dont feel like alot of people even know

None of that matters. If they release again 4 years later people would buy them again. They don't need to do anything to them. They really don't. People like the shoes for what they are, the myth that they change a detail here and there on each release to keep people interested is absurd. It's completely unnecessary.

The remastering is probably more about pride than marketing.
