Gets closer every day, I'm starting to lean towards 2x pairs. I did like the 09' Space Jam color on the Jumpman. (Yes, I know it wasn't like the ones on Mike's PE.)

Looking at these and the OG cut of the patent leather makes me wonder when we are gonna get true OG concords.... I still have my OGs from 1995. Gotta admit, they updated the cut and size of the sole on these for a reason. The OG looks a lil goofy nowadays.

I can not believe they slapped a white line on the same damn patent leather we've been getting for years and got dudes thinking it's going to be the grade of the 1995-96 patent. You're being trolled. Some of you are too damn dumb to know it.
Kids are going to freak out when they see that cut in person. Pics can't justify the difference between this (more on par with originals) and what they've been getting they're entire lives. A lot of younger guys won't like it at first, but will still buy the shoes.

Totally agree. I think that white line will have the younger guys shook. But on the bright side... I see the "Spacejam XI hype" dying for good just like the Columbia/ Legend Blue XI hype did with the last release. We will probably see this Spacejam a year later for $220 all day, just like the Columbia... oh and restocks throughout that year just like the others. Sounds good to me. I look forward to coppin a 2nd pair of Cement 4s for the same reason. $200ish in a year or so.

These will be a decent release. I hope there aren't any murders or violent crimes over these. If they make a million pairs again, everyone should cook or even be able to cop the next morning.

I'm not sure it will die for good, these are much more popular than the Columbia xi and these actually age well. Though I do agree that for a year or 2 these won't go fpr much over retail after the initial week of release. Hopefully they make these in 72 and 10 numbers at a minimum. Though @CEO InSane mentioned that these would break all the sales records set by the 72 and 10.

At the end of the day.... Nike likes money just like any other company. They know that people will keep coming back to buy no matter how many pairs are out there. They are releasing a retro nearly every week. Even if cool peeps don't buy, you will see someone's gardner or UPS guy with them on bought from a shoe warehouse. Nike doesn't care. They are moving so many shoes, they can care less about prestige and history of the shoe. They play a great role acting like they do though. And kids believe it. Mango IX lows? Radio Raheem 2s? They dont care.

Seriously. In that pic it looks less blue tinted than the first pics shared.
Remember that the og concords also looked different on photos. Especially the official nike commercial poster where you see the sole much, the sole didn't look colorless translucent clear at all but had a slight blue tint in them as well. People who think the ogs would have clear icy soles like the DMP, 2009 retro have are having the wrong picture in their mind.

The white lining actually means that the patent leather below the shiny surfae is actually white like on all OGs and the 2000 concord retro.
The downside is if/when the patent leather cracks or even chips you will have white spots visible.
Since the 2000 Space jams, all black patent leather have dyed black patent leather making cracks and chips less visible.
