Air Jordan 11 Space Jam-December 10, 2016-$220

I've seen OG Playoffs with completely different PL cuts.
Ehh, the 23 looks a bit different from the normal ones you'd see on the 96-2000's. Box isn't also the Air Jordna face box either, but it probably is a 2K Space Jam .

Guess you never owened a pair of the 2000 Space Jams because they had a significantly lower patent leather cut at the side sections, slight yellow tint in the clear outsoles from the beginning compared to the 1995 PEs and samples which had dark concord instead of varsity blue.

There's just something about the 2000 jams that I've always felt indifferent about. I've always felt that overall, the other retro's from '00-'01 were made a little better. I've always thought the 2001 Cool Grey's were especially superb for a retro.

The shapes were a lot better back then. Just look at the 2000 fire red 5's and the 2012 the shape is terrible in the 2012's

It was the bad lighting, Space Jam movie effect. The PL cut is erratic on the OG's, but I should have known it was an OG from the gigantic taiwan cut.

The 2000 V is the best V ever made without a shadow of a doubt in my mind. The 2013 shape isn't that bad though, it was the 2009-2011 steel toe boot shape but the puffs look odd. 2006 and 2000 have the best shape TBH.

Def not feeling the high PL, I just don't want a 2008 Playoff on my hands.

i enjoy the high patent leather as well as the 2000 patent leather. the newest batch of 11s need some patent leather love.

The thing I like about OG's is that the blue tint is a bit brighter and noticable than the 2000, especially at an angle like what you see with the OG Smuckers Concord Grape Jam. Icey sole card is played out because what people don't realize is that started off with a light blue tint and lose it while they sit in the factory.

I wasn't really mad about the lack of blue soles I'm the 2000s for any of the pairs except for the COLUMBIAS. Those look so much better with the blue tine.

Og concords and black concords had clear outsoles with decent blue tint which was normal for all clear outsoles used by nike (incl. Af 180, foamposite 1 and air zoom flight 96).
2000 retro concords and space jams had rather yellow tint even out of the box.
I remember it was the 1st difference i noticed. The patent leather on the 2000 concords had the white lining like on all ogs though which means when the patent surface cracked or even chipped it was white below.
The 2011 concords were the first extremely milky soles where you cannot see the black patent of the toe tip below. The patent leather cut has been quite atrocious since 2009.
Last but not least the DMPs were the first pair of AJ11 to have the jumpman on the left shoe facing backwards.

Since 08

The OG shape and height made the shoe IMO. The OG high patent leather set it off perfectly also. The '00,'01's are acceptable, but the '08-presents entire mold is atrocious. The only exception is the 2014 Columbias.

Na. Owned 2000s and joints were definitely not yellow out of the box.

It was the usual clear (icey) sole that sometimes appeared to have a slight light blue-ish tint (like most Js with a clear sole back in the day did) until they inevitably yellowed.

If ya joints was yellow out the box they were probably fake lol.

Nope i worked at foot locker and my pairs of space jams were purchased from another retailer. All concords and space jams had clear outsoles with a slight tendency of yellow tint while the ogs had a blue tint tendency.
The 2001 columbias however had a more blueish/greyish tint.
2001 coolgreys had th same like the 2000 concords and space jams.

i remember this. its like the icey soles until around 2008 werent completely icy and still had a degree of opaque to them. i want to say the 2008 hoh foam ones were the start of the really clear soles.

Having never had ANY full size XI it doesn't really matter, as whatever I get will be better than what I had [emoji]128514[/emoji].

That said, if they could look as close to the OG's as possible I'd appreciate it [emoji]128077[/emoji][emoji]127998[/emoji]

The 2000 era was because they probably sat in the factory longer. When they opened the box, it was so much white it would hurt your eyes. IIRC the blue tint is just a way to prevent UV yellowing, and it'd naturally fade. If you've seen the ads for the original 5, you can clearly see a blue.
