Kobe doesn't have the personality or charisma to pull it off. Maybe it's my northern cali biased but he's always seemed boring too me off the court. I'm by no means a lebron fan but I do respect his game and believe he's more suited for this role. And since this is a movie for kids that's really all that needs to be taken into consideration. That's why I thought steph would be an acceptable choice. I don't know a kid who doesn't love steph

Kobe definitely doesn't have much of a personality. Love Kobe, Lakers fan, but he's 1000% basketball 24/7. If it's not about basketball, he doesn't care. He was a guest on Jimmy Fallon a while ago and he was stale as hell.

Lebron, on the other hand, he's more of a people person. He was known throughout the Olympics as a jokester and just wouldn't stay still or keep his mouth shut for more than 2 seconds. He's always dancing in between timeouts and before games. He just enjoys life and wants to have fun. As much as I don't like the dude, I'm sorry, but he's a better fit for Space Jam.

Lebron cant catch a break these days, seems like a lot of dudes hate him. Maybe i am biased bc i live in cleveland and grew up watching the dude, but man i dont remember the last time an athlete was so hated. If i was him i would be scared to go out in public, afraid somebody might kill me lol.
