Murder or Suicide?

But you're assuming she was sitting facing the window. The gun in her right hand and the positioning of her body on the floor makes it appear that she had her back towards the window.

Even if she were facing froward and the desk was to her right, imagine how hard it is to not only hold a gun to the front of your head and still be able to pull a trigger. Plus the bold would've splattered more so to the left because it's highly doubtful that you could aim perfectly enough to get the splatter to be perfectly behind of her.

She was writing something, yes. But that doesn't have to be a suicide note. The books on the desk could've been memoirs and the page could suggest she was adding to them. There's fathomable doubt that it could've been something other than a suicide note.

My guess is that she's left handed and was writing something. Someone came in while she put her pen down to take a drag of her cigarette. She reached for a gun, but since she's left handed, her reaction to fire at the suspect was delayed a bit.

Suicide.

She finishes writing her short suicide note,

she lights a cig, takes a drag thinking "what the hell, smoking won't do no harm at this point"

faces away from the desk,

with her right hand she puts the gun to her right temple and pulls the trigger,

blood spatters on the wall, and she falls over to the left.

Murder. Who sits on a stool facing the opposite way from the desk. If it was suicide the blood would be on the opposite wall

Also she has a nice set of flowers and painting on the wall. why would you water new flowers and set them in front of your priceless painting, only to blow your brains out on them

Also you would need to see the entrance and exit wound. It's possible it could've entered the left side, which would be murser

She could've turned around after she was done writing the letter.

Not sure if murder or suicide, leaning towards murder. She's definitely dead though.

If it were suicide there would be some evidence of blood on her hand gun from when the bullet impacted.

Murder.

Blood spatter on the wall behind her. Why would she shoot herself in the forehead? If she was to commit that she woulda shot herself in the temple. Cigarette still in hand one would think she wouldn't be smoking if it was suicide

All you guys saying suicide have the same detective skills of the Seattle PD that handled the death of Kurt Cobain.

Then how the heck does the blood end up on the right wall?
How is there no splatter on the gun or her right hand?
How is there no trail of blood in the direction in which the bullet would've traveled (to the left)??

her back is to the desk when she shoots herself in the right temple. blood end ups on the wall to her left.

No splatter on her gun or right hand or trail of blood because cartoon physics.

I could see how that's plausible if, and only if, she turned around on the barstool. I don't think it's likely though.

why not? The window is right in front of the desk. Maybe she didn't want to look at her reflection in the glass before shooting herself.

The lamp isn't reflecting in the window, so I don't see how she would. It's probably a small city apartment with windows that are blocked by other tall buildings.

What? I think it's murder too, but I don't understand your reasoning. A lamp doesn't have to be turned on if it's plugged in and how the hell did you come to the "blocked by tall buildings" conclusion from that drawing? And if that were the case you can still see your reflection on glass.

I said it could be blocked by other tall buildings. That was a slight jab at NY for having small apartments packed together, not really meant to be taken serious.

But going off of the theory that she turned around so she couldn't see her reflection in the window, it's not very plausible because you can't see the reflection of the lamp in the window. Doesn't matter if the light is turned on or not.

Its both, murder and suicide. She's killing herself smoking cigarettes. Just so happens someone popped her before she could face a long painful death.

Its neither.

Shes not dead shes knocked out.

She was in her bedroom watching netflix and she heard movement outside in her place. So she grabbed the hammer.

When she got out she noticed a bat was inside.
Thr bat was chillin on the ceiling fan so she grabbed the stool to stand on and took her slipper off to shew it away. The bat flew to the wall and she shot it...the kickback caused her to fall off the stool. ..dropping her slipper....and knocking her out.

She saw her bestfriend getting backshots from her husband in the adjacent apartment building, turned away from that painful image and offed herself.

Plausibility confirmed.
