I know dude was in Africa where diamonds are...I also know he buried a bag....And I most definitely know 1+1=2. But that still doesn't answer how. I have been to Africa before but guess what I didn't come back with diamonds. I just wonder what he had to do to obtain them in Africa.

I thought it was clear given how long he's been living here, the facts about his time with the EITC, that some group taught him to control his crazy that he got the diamonds either cuz it was given to him or he did some dirt.

I assume if it's important enough it'll be revealed eventually.
 
they will probably do the whole africa flash back towards the end of the season

in the previews they showed tom hardy in his tribal clothes, tattoo, and spear
 
What exactly did he do to that goon that beat him over the head? They show him make a slicing gesture towards his stomache then it cuts away. Then later in the flashback it shows dude with his whole bottom half missing or his legs replaced with stuff?? It was too quick I couldn't tell
 
The thing that I was confused about was Dumbarton sent the goon after Delaney.

I thought he was safe after he made America to get Nootka land in his will, if he was killed.

But yea, he just sliced dudes middle and pulled out his intestines.

I forgot who he was talking to but Delaney was discussing the situation about who to side with and the other person said all sides would try to kill him over this land. I think this is after the EITC sent that guy after him.

Delaney basically said he knew what the EITC were capable of so it's better to make them stop and that the Americans were the lesser threat between the EITC and the crown.

Keep in mind if Delaney dies the Americans are just as likely as trying to get to Ms. Bow and make her give them the land without giving up a monopoly on tea or w/e else Delaney wants.

Also it's because of his will that the Americans would want him dead. They then have a legitmate claim to the land and can lawyer the whole thing to death.

That would make sense that the Americans would kill him then haha. I don't see how James can win.

Like what were they were talking about if his dad bought the land from the natives with gunpowder, then somehow that would have been illegal because EITC made gunpowder or something? The cross dressing dude was talking about it and i barely caught what he was saying.

Only way James gets that land is if he kills the high sparrow and most of his council. Oh and kills his brother in law. Oh and if he also kills that American spy :lol:

Yea but I don't think the Americans know that / have that juice.

He's basically trying to keep everyone at bay while he's making his moves.

Out of the King / EITC / Americans he can handle the Americans easier because they gotta move in silence.

Issue is now the Americans know Ole girl is his sister and he was smashin'.

Yeah. He did that so the EITC or the crown wouldn't try to kill him.

Thing is that gives the Americans the perfect reason to kill him and not give him a monopoly on tea.
 
They got spies like everybody else.

I think it's safe to assume they do. How did they know about the incest is what I'm wondering about.

Yes they know.

Dumbarton said "don't ask how we know, we just know" in reference to his knowing him and his Sister were Spooning but he also acknowledged he sent the Goon, and the reason they did that was because they know about the will, and want him dead.

Pretty sure Little Delaney is A product of incest which might make sense as to why Ole girl keeps having failed pregnancies.

Maybe she had a rough birth or something else happened.

Bow might be trying to get it in, could be her way of being nosey and finding out why James with fussing with her.
