Another unarmed man shot in the back. Raleigh, NC

Can we just make a police brutality thread or something? do we have something that we can add this to?

this is very sad and unfortunate.

Chicago has over 100 murders in just February. Just 2 months into the new year. I can't say all of them are from guns but there is definitely a problem. Everyone stay safe

So the chief is saying that a weapon was recovered near by but witnesses on scene are saying he didn't have a weapon on him, is that correct??

Yep. So you already know what direction it's bout to go. The way this process is about to be dragged out is going to be so disgusting.

So the firearm was in "close proximity" to the suspect, huh?  Yeah, aight.  6 shots too, crazy.  RIP.

my thing is if you didnt catch him today, why not come back later and come with warrants and get him?

how the hell was he threatening the officer jumping fences and running away?

SMH these cops out here aint living right man. they scared and policing areas they dont give a **** about.

I heard about this yesterday, some of my homies who go to NCCU went to march with the NAACP downtown today.

This is definitely going to divide the city.

RIP akiel denkins

RIP to the young brotha.

Whether the cops had or came back with a warrant, most likely given this situation he would have ran again. That being said if he was unarmed he didn't deserve to die. One thing that I hope that is learned from this situation is for US not to run if approached by the police. If innocent, stand up for your innocence and let things play out.
