Mostly all brands are over hyped besides a few.

So to answer your question, yes.

But aren't they like $200?

Guess it's a deal regardless.

Unless you do a lot of flying I honestly don't understand the noise cancellation head phone trend.
I don't want to be that guy but every time I see you post I think of that time when the bengals lost to the steelers last two months ago in the playoffs lol

What the bose wireless over the wireless studios?
Nah , I bought the bose and returned them. Noise cancelling sucks and the bass is non existent.

I had some Bose joints a couple years ago. They were pretty good. But I found a pair of black beats pros on CL in mint condition for 200. Rocked with those til I sold them *******.

It's funny how people are saying Bose. Audiophiles pretty much consider Bose to be just like Beats.

Do they make non-bulky Audio Technicas?

Yeah, they aren't portable at all. They're good for home use though.

AKG is a good company too. There are all kinds of good nonmainstream brands though. You just gotta familiarize yourself with headfi.com and do research. Beats have gotten better though.

Ive had a lot of headphones and I always fall back to two.

If you want superior sound with a classic look at a decent price - Sony MDR-V6

If you want superior sound without compromising looks at a premium price - V-Moda M-100

Beats suck ***.

Bought these during Christmas off the strength of the reviews and the price. I was happily surprised. The sound quality is A+ for the price. Sure there are better sounding headphones on the market but you gotta pay big dollars. BT works perfectly and the battery life is far more than the advertised 8 hours. I'd say more like between 12 - 15 hours of battery life but also have a cord hookup if your battery dies. They do not have active noise canceling but they block out a lot of sound because they are closed back. They are not true over the ears. They sit on your ears a little but not crappily like the Beats Solos. All in all these are worth it for BT, SQ and price. They fold up neatly and compact down more than a pair of Beats and come with a nice hard case like Beats.

But if money isn't what you're worried about I'd take these right now for a nice BT, SQ, active noise cancelling headphone. They have some bulk but I love the fit, feel, quality and SQ. Great headphones, just not spending that price. Hoping to find a discounted pair down the road.

The new Bose ones are dope. Trying to make that comeback. $$$.  But I only buy 10 dollar cheap ones from cvs.

I went threw two pair of the Apple iPhone ones. I'm assuming it's all the sweat [emoji]128533[/emoji]

Beats are garbage. The general consumer can easily be swayed by rappers and athletes, its always been this way.

Beats look good, but you can probably get the same sound from a cheaper pair of headphones. I had a pair, then they broke within a year or so. Moved on to those short lived Ludacris Souls, sounded identical. Used some Marleys that were pretty decent for a cheap price.

I don't wanna spend more then needed but lord knows I love music when I'm working out....
