Picked these up and I'm very happy with the quality. Definitely going to be in heavy rotation as the weather starts to get wet and snowy. I also ordered some elephant print laces to see how they look, because what are IIIs without elephant print.

Looked em over in store.. I like 3s, but I'm not crazy about all black upper and white sole. I think a grey or black outsole would have improved them. But, the leather on the toe and upper sides is crazy nice, buttery. They need to use that stuff more.. Tongue and lower parts are that plasticy stuff.

Need these to be $150 and under and I will probably cop.

Yes, good leather on these for mens. As for GS sizes, you can guess how bad it is.

I would have copped these if the sole was black and they had blacked out elephant print.

With true blues so close these won't sell great but even if they released on cyber Monday after true blues I don't think they would sell that well so I guess this was best time to release [emoji]129300[/emoji]

Yes exactly why they released them early. They don't want a situation like last year where they had to many releases in a short period. Aqua, maroon, 72-10s, chromes and more. They will still hit the outlets and then I'll pick a pair up. They look nice in person just not for $206 with the TBs next month which I need to double on. Maybe triple since I wear 3s more than 11s. More comfortable and I just can't be comfortable in 11s worrying about messing up the patent. That's just me though. I love beating 3s to the ground. Most comfortable Jordan for my feet aside from 13s. VIs feel great too even though they're heavier.

But yeah don't see these going anywhere any time soon. As soon as they hit $160 or less I'll pick a pair up. Not bad for everyday beaters with some raw denim.

They should've at least put a black elephant trim on like on the black cats or fire reds. Everyone loves elephant trim. Really the first thing that caught my attention when I first got into Jordans. I guess they thought they wouldn't look clean with it. I thought the liner would be leather too like the flips but no.

I was literally thinking the same thing, up until we got official pictures I thought we were getting a black elephant print trim similar to Fire Red 3s. I don't like the rope laces they put on it also.

I'm curious to know what people think of these as a sneaker, without assessing it in the context of being a Jordan 3. Personally, I find the elephant print ugly and these seem, from photos, to be pretty clean. I don't think I'll keep my pair.

BTW, I do understand the importance of fidelity to the original color ways and accents, but I don't happen to care about this on the 3s. I also don't care about it on the 11s...2016 Space Jams with a blacked out Jumpman would be my ideal AJ11. :smile:

The on foot pics were helpful; confirmed I definitely don't want these. Really nothing special, though I do like the inner liner, which is what they used on the son of mars low; much more comfortable and durable than the regular cotton. Also, not a good winter shoe due to the white outsole, so I don't understand those comments people made. Even a black translucent outsole would have been better; white outsoles simply look like crap after one wear (in any weather). I have a number of other black based shoes; there's really no point in having these. I wouldn't even cop for $100; would prefer to just wear my Oreo 4s, black 29s, BM5s, black and silver AT3s, Infrared 6s, etc. Really hoping the BC3 launches in 2017, and they're as easy to get as the WC4 and BM5s!

That said if you're a huge 3 fan (and don't mind the lack of EP), or you don't have a lot of black based sneakers, and don't mind the white outsole, the quality looks really nice.
