Yeah I'm gonna hold onto him too. Everyone gets rocked here and thereTwins/Indians game delayed due to rain. Berrios might not even go tonight.
He went and had a rough outing5ER in 4IP. Won't give up on him just yet. Especially since this is a Keeper.
.Just grabbed him. Looks like he doesn't strike too many guys out but I'll take all the saves I can get.

I would. Manaea's biggest asset is deception with his delivery (arm angle). Lively FB with slider and changeup. The slider is his second-best pitch.
Here's the biggest key to his long-term fantasy value: Regardless if Oakland keeps Manaea in the majors, he's under team control through 2022. Service time IS NOT an issue because he didn't make the roster out of ST.

I always say if you're dropping an average bench bat you go for the pitcher with upside.

Agreed. Even if you plug that hitter into your lineup for a few games, there's no guarantee he'll even produce. At least with a pitcher you're guaranteed stats. Whether good or bad, that's another question

Had to make a move before the 2:20 game and ended up going with Lewis. Was split between him or Fiers, but Fiers has only pitched six innings once this season and I'm in need of QSs.
I appreciate the help regardless.

I'm partial to Fiers because of his high strikeout ability. He's honestly pitched fairly well in three of his four starts this year. Definitely susceptible to the HR ball unfortunately. K/inning is alluring. Maybe 2016 is the year he puts it together after showing flashes in Milwaukee in '14.

My opponent has a large lead in K/9 right now, which is why I didn't take his strikeout ability into consideration. He definitely has the potential and I'll continue to monitor him as I'm experimenting with my last two SP roster spots while McCullers is still out.

McCullers byke soon. Pitched 3 rehab innings Wednesday, threw 45 pitches and touched 96 with the FB on the gun.
